March 15, 20241 yr Yeah, I know it’s college baseball and all, but frankly, I’ll be pretty disappointed if Texas doesn’t sweep. The huskies are not good.
March 15, 20241 yr At the beginning of the season I thought the Huskies were going to be a problem on the schedule. I still think the Huskies are better than their record indicates. They've had some interesting luck. Second year head coach Jason Kelly may have overachieved last year. We'll see.

I've made some serious errors in judgement on dollar hotdog days back when it was still honey buckets at the "ballpark"... https://gohuskies.com/sports/2024/2/29/promotions-2023-24-baseball.aspx Edited March 15, 20241 yr by petscii

They lost a ton off their team last year that went to a regional and weren't very active in the portal. They are pretty young on the mound but that is Kelly's speciality. The PAC12 is horrible this year so they could certainly make some noise regardless of the results this weekend.

March 15, 20241 yr I guess we have our core lineup. The two catcher look is a little unconventional but both are hitting.

I’m curious if Pierce will keep it once Galvan’s thumb heals. Borba, Sanders, and Co aren’t really making his decision all that difficult at this point Free Dee
March 15, 20241 yr God dammit it's going to be a fucking shitshow down there tonight with the Spurs game and SXSW. Didn't even think about Texas playing baseball tonight.
March 15, 20241 yr Everyone in the lineup hitting above .300 outside of Brown(.226) and O’Dowd(.180). Brown will eventually get his but we know what O’Dowd is at this point. Seems obvious during this home stretch we should let Dee get more playing time.

March 15, 20241 yr LBJ bb/ip are up from about .43 last year to .65 this year. Excludes the rise in hbp too. The fb location has been really poor too often

March 15, 20241 yr Freakin' ball hit at the bottom of the wall and just more or less laid there. Lucky break for 'em.
