No one associated to baseball with clear eyes thinks Pierce has been dealing with a shit hand in NIL. If he can’t deliver with this team, he’s out. I am not saying this season, but probably. He has ev

It is tough when you have to play top 25 ranked programs from major conferences every weekend...

whats that...

Washington isnt in the top 50?

Washington has a losing record this year?

Hmm, maybe we suck

Swung at ball 7 and watched strike 3

Well, it was a FB on the inside half of the plate.  He wasn't going to hit it anyway.

Feel for Whitehead. Has to be damn near best pitching performance of his Texas career and just zero support for him at the plate.

This. If it was just that our pitching was shit, that would be understandable. But we should be able to put up 6 runs on fucking Washington.

Whitehead isn’t even 100%. Not sure the exact injury but it’s one of those where he can pitch through it and get it taken care of in the offseason.

UW also has a much better fielding percentage than us.   The fact of the matter is, they are probably an all around better club.  Which is sad.

They’ve turned the most double plays in the country and our guys couldn’t turn either of the two I watched last night. They are a much better, more sound baseball club.

Just announced on the radio that Grubbs is starting tomorrow

27 innings to pitch in the next 4 days. What could go wrong?

So fire Pierce, interim HC is who? Tulo? Come on CDC do your thing...

Texas has no other pitching coaches, Pierce has cleared any other voices from the program.

Going to be long week.

Thank goodness, we can rely on a guy that is so good, he's not even an on field coach.

Okay smartass. You keep repeating over and over there are no other pitching voices in the program. Sorry for pointing out that isn’t true.

Phillip Miller, Steve Rodriguez, and Caleb Longley are the assistant coaches. Tulo is on staff as Director of Player Development. Fuck it, put one of them in charge. This season is fucked anyway.

Then go steal somebody good.

Schuessler blown away by an 84-mph fastball

Did that UW pitcher throw anything but fastballs?  His delivery must hide the ball because he was getting it by our hitters.

Ace is a gutsy MFer. Doesnt have his best stuff right now and still goes out there and buries pitches low in the zone and challenges opposing hitters.

Big ups to Boogie.  So when again is the Spring game?

2/3 of the programs that matter need a new direction. About to learn the length of the CDC fuse. I hope its not very long.

I don't believe we are less talented than Washington but we just aren't as good.  Approach at plate, on mound, crispness in the field.  Just don't look well drilled.  Some of it can probably be blamed on youth and lack of leadership.  The upperclassmen are not exactly alphas.

we are ass...Pierce won't last long in the SEC.  He's lucky the Big 12 appears to be ass all over this year.

There will be plenty of time remaining in this season to crack jokes and bitch about the pitching coach.

In our last 4 losses we have scored 2 runs, 2 runs, 3 runs and 3 runs.

We will probably lead this sorry conference in ERA again for the 4th straight year because other staffs appear to be ass as well. We talk about SEC arms, how about we learn to hit the type of pitching we've seen the last two nights? 89-92 with some life and good command, because if we can't solve that simple riddle it won't matter what else happens.
