No one associated to baseball with clear eyes thinks Pierce has been dealing with a shit hand in NIL. If he can’t deliver with this team, he’s out. I am not saying this season, but probably. He has ev

Here's a thought.   Washington might be better.

They shouldn't be....but ride that pony...

I guess hitting two batters and walking the bases loaded is all Pierce needs to see? If you leave Howard in you are completely giving up this game.
of course bullpen no better.

Quality pitching. On the one hand, Howard and Hurley are not good. On the other hand, this series doesn't mean that much in the big picture, and we managed to win a conference road series with the same abysmal pitching.

Texas has one quality starting pitcher. Let that sink in for a minute given the history of this baseball program. And even LBJ has regressed from last season.

Yeah - at Texas - letting the pitching staff fall this far is unforgiveable. DP needs to go.

Tech sucks ass. Those were two bad teams struggle fucking last weekend. LBJ is our only hope to salvage a tournament bid.

I wasn't planning in hitting the brown water this early but with this shitshow and my son's tournament being cancelled, it is now a forgone conclusion.

An invite seems unlikely

FFS, Blue.  They don't need any help. That was 4" out.

Well at least Gasparino came to play today....5-1 bad guys.

Gasparino has been one of best hitters for the entire season. How the fuck is he batting after O’Dowd?

Finally won an inning. LFG.
Belyeau check swing with full count was something though.

Best was stadium DJ played the “Mission Impossible” theme intro during O’Dowd’s AB. Was pretty funny.

I’ve reached the acceptance phase that we will be starting a dude who throws 85 next weekend against Baylor.

It worked for Justin Simmons.

Whitehead pitching well against these guys. IF making plays behind him. Just need hitters to start having a semblance of an approach at the plate.

Only for one year

JT is not a leadoff hitter. Strikes out a lot and doesn’t work counts

Not watching the game. Sounds like things are going swell

Flores with another rope.

@Fletch not quite dead yet.

Do we have leadoff hitter? Garpar?

Yea put Gasparino at leadoff and that puts PP in the right spot too

Could eventually be Dee.  If Pierce would ever play him.

Wow. Porter went with the pitch and good things happened

Two batters in a row not trying to hit bomb. Hit hard good things happen.

And then...

Galvan flailed at a pitcher's pitch on a hitters count. Them you you knew what was going to happen.

Do your thing, zlavydra

This new pitcher for Washington looks like he got dropped off from the set of a “Deliverance” remake.
