MLB needs to step up, I like the idea of blowing up the 4th. MLB games from noon to late at night  …

Vic already beat me to it.

who is hanging around a TV on the 4th?

even eating is done outside where a TV is an after thought

Meanwhile, Freddie up with 'em loaded in bot 8, 2 outs, tied.

Singles, because of course he does.

Probably due to weather and time of year. Christmas and Thanksgiving are colder months and people are inside, close to a tv. On the 4th, so many people are outside and not worried about a tv.

plenty of people left to watch 4 mob games 😍

History today:

Quote

Ben Rice in 17th career game hits 3 home runs on July 6, 2024. The previous record for the least amount of career games to hit 3 in a game was Hal Trotsky on May 30, 1934 for the Indians in his 51st game.

Pimping homers in a game you lost by 10 is certainly a choice.

That homer made the score 4-3 Boston.

Happy now?

Jon Singleton bat flips even when down 6.  I think I love him.

Also, the Twins' City Connect jerseys involve them dressing up to look like the Brewers?  Someone didn't think that through...

Ben Rice is a rookie and he hit 3 homers in that same game. Didn’t pimp any of them like that. He’s just a coach on the field that plays the game the right way. I’d let my daughter date him, not someone like Devers.

Anyone see that Yelich 'attempt'? That was fucking pathetic.

PH HR in bot 8 for LAD.

And Shohei adds another.

Looks like that Soto trade is going to work out about as well as the Nats could have hoped.

(And I think Lance Lynn was auditioning for the HR derby today.)
