Shaka should just be lucky for a great draw. Granted, that's part of being a high seed but still.

Remember the Colorado State team beat Colorado earlier in the year.

Typical Shaka Dumb

Clock mgt mistakes at end of game by Shaka are indefensible...

wow

Down 9 snd still fouling. Let it go, Shaka

I guess you can never call a Sweet 16 a disappointment but Shaka was gifted a path to the Elite 8.

15 seed, 10 seed, and 11 seed.

we will see if this is the peak Shaka at Marquette.  3 more NCAA tournament wins than we got in half the years though.

Brad Brownell and Kevin Keatts were both on the hot seat a couple of weeks ago, now they're both a game away from the Final Four.

We talked about two weeks ago how this would cost them.

that’s the thing about shaka- it’s all too predictable, down to the very manner in which his team will lose.

The refs really just let Edey do whatever the hell he wants. It's insane how much the refs just defer to him because he's a freakish behemoth.

I guess he earned the #2 seed but its all so predictable.  dude is probably the luckiest coach alive.  10's of millions of dollars off one final four run. 13 years ago.

Marquette will extend him.

Gonzaga was a fraud this season. Got way too much love for beatng a garbage Kansas team. It was a one of Few's more mediocre teams and it was front and center tonight.

It's very predictable with Shaka. All 3 of his wins in the tournament at Marquette are against double digit seeds.

He's just a bad tournament coach.

Nice patch for Houston to the Final Four.  Duke's been way too inconsistent this year to trust them to give Houston too much trouble.

Agreed. I watched a couple of their games and did not see what we had seen in the recent past.

The thing about Shaka is I never want to hear he's "unlucky."

In 6 tournament games at Marquette he's never played anyone better than a 7 seed.

they'll lose to NC State

I thought Gonzaga only had a 7 man rotation for this game as someone got left in Spokane. That won’t work vs Purdue

If UH gets by Duke (which I suspect they will) they better take NC State seriously as they have some dudes

I think 4/35 from 3 for Marquette

4-31 (12.9%).🤣🤣🤣🤣

But Shaka-ball keeps shooting the 3. As always in the tournament, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with another brilliant game plan. I swear if that dude’s name was John Smith he would be making $7.45 an hour at WalMart.

Fraud implies they were fooling people, I think everyone knew this wasn't that great of a Gonzaga team.

Double dip for NCST - men and women both advance to the Elite 8 within minutes of each other, by beating a 2 seed

And that's fair.

Can't wait to see this Houston / Duke game.

it’s entirely possible that. out we’re about to be fired.

the extra tournament TO's really help NCST.  Houston is gonna try to tire out the big dude but there are so many stoppages he can catch his breath.

1/11 in the second half. Missed the first 10 before Kolak hit one with under four to play. I guess the halftime talk was, “keep shooting threes”.

UH is going to avenge their loss to Jimmy V 40 years ago. Fuck Dook.

Man, D.J. Burns, Jr., reminds me so much of one of my favorite Gator players - Demetrius Hill, ‘Da Meat Hook’….

i’m all in on the Wolfpack

Dook having a hard time with UH physical style of play. XII basketball is so superior to the ACC

Varsity vs. JV.  Men vs. Boys.

However you want to define it. Duke will struggle to win this game.

We'll see.

Damn, Houston and Duke have never played before. Hard to believe…

And the fucking weirdo high stepper is reffing this game.

Not sure coog high will be able to score enough points to beat dookie tonight.

They may also have a big depth problem if tonight's refs keep calling a lot of fouls.

Did I hear them say Vescovi has the flu and is in the locker room?  Am I crazy or should they get him the fuck out of there?

Fuck, man. Just terrible for him and Houston.

Those eversion injuries can be a bitch though. It’s the easiest way to tear the ATF

that was kind of bullshit call on Filipowski.  he was getting grabbed and hacked.
