gonna cross post this. But during the Rangers/Astros game my 5 year old daughter comes out and see an Astros player bating(It was Yainer Diaz, not Altuve). Her "Is that short fuck Altuve?"

Cool.

While 1 run usually feels impossible, four runs in fact is an insurmountable lead for this offense.

I'd say except for Seager, but he'll only come up again with no one on base anyway.

Can we get the Bobby Valentine mustache and also bat Seager 2nd through 8th?

WTF is it with this team giving up homers to fucking catchers??

It’s not like Bench or Piazza are still playing.

Yeah. Not walking Yordan last night, and letting LeClerc get worked. Odd choices.

Then again Bochy knows the offense as well as we do.

5 runs seems insurmountable. Even if we had 18 innings to get it.

4 runs is insurmountable this year.

Read elsewhere that the biggest comeback all year is 3 runs down.

Twice.

Not trying to aggy you guys, but it’s felt like a “next year” team since May. Lots of injuries, lots of excuses, but it felt like it wasn’t ever going to come together.

Time to let some kids play. I have some thoughts on next year, but will be its own thread.

Appropriate DP to end it is appropriate.

What an anemic, flaccid, pathetic offense. It's actually amazing major league players can be this bad, for this long. Other than Seager's usual outbursts and Smiths 1st half.

And just utter shit all around this afternoon.

It's a shame they couldn't have gotten some prospects for the short-timers that aren't going to be around. Not doing a heck of a lot of good for the Rangers now.
