With 13 runs scored at that....love what they have done for pace of play.

Best rule changes in sports in a long, long time.

Man if Burke can regain his 2022 form that’s huge for the ‘pen….

This.  Yates and Robertson are solid veteran middle relievers that can be counted on more times than not.  Maybe Sborz post season magic has turned the corner for him?  Leclerc will still make us sweat during a save situation.

Sborz has electric stuff. Relief pitchers are volatile but he could be a huge piece all year for us.

No sudden movements but here's Jack

5.0-2-2-2-0-9. Was one strike away from completing five scoreless, then allowed a game-tying home run.Still, nine strikeouts and zero walks (and 71% strikes) is just a monumentally massive development. https://t.co/8J9cFUFCGB
Sheesh. CB 80, SL 86, FB 97. Annnnd, you’re gone.

When you have stuff that good sometimes “throw strikes” is a pretty good coaching tip.

All 9 of Leiter’s strikeout pitches:

After a strong Cactus League showing, No. 8 @Rangers prospect Jack Leiter racked up 9 K's (+ 0 BB) in his season debut for the @RRExpress:

Well that inning was not as fun as some of the others. Good walk from Langford. Nice to see him not chasing pitches to make a mark.

I just realized the Cubs first base coach is Mike Napoli. They haven't announced first and third base coaches at all this series

Buddy saw him in the dugout the other day & texted, 'Didn't realize Nap was still playing'.
