The Texas Rangers are calling up top prospect Justin Foscue, sources tell ESPN. Foscue, 25, was a first-round pick in 2020 and can play first, second and third base. He’ll fill the roster spot of Josh Jung, whose right wrist was broken when a pitch hit it Monday.

Foscue is gonna take advantage of his opportunity here.

Does anyone know if the team store at the park sells baby blue jerseys?  I can't find any official online.

“I think closer to 6 weeks is what we’re looking at.” -#Rangers Manager Bruce Bochy on Josh Jung’s timeline @1053thefan @kandc1053

So, are we looking looking at 3 months??

Most fractures are 6-8 weeks before PT starts. I assume big skrong boy like Josh and top notch med staff would put him returning full time 7-8 weeks.

Evan far and away the league leader in the hot new advanced stat: WGWH, walks per game without a hit.

Which is the reason I am hesitant to complain about it, but it’d be nice if he threw in the occasional double with the walks.

Blurb on ESPN says 6 weeks FWIW…bigger issue is that’s the kind of injury that can linger for a hitter. Fuck all we can do it about it now, next man up…

Think it’s too late; only 158 games left….

At least he can hit. Also, that’s Garcia’s ball. Should have called him off.

Fucking circus still in town I see

They are playing in the worst tent in the league.

not sure why Yerry comes in for high leverage. has never been good lol

I’d suppose the only way to get better at it is to do it, but that was shit.

Oh goddammit can we leave this shit box yesterday before they find a way to injure Bochy too?

I honestly thought he was going to hurt himself walking out of the dugout yesterday after Josh got hit. Looked awfully wobbly.
