April 16, 20241 yr A win and the bullpen secured a one run lead while maintaining a shutout. Nice start to the road series. Edited April 16, 20241 yr by mdmost
April 16, 20241 yr Any particular reason we're playing three noon games in a row? Did I miss something?

April 16, 20241 yr Detroit closes at 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, thus the day games. Thread hijack - anyone been there? Seems a low-key interesting trip. Auto museums, Motown, etc
April 16, 20241 yr Also, Leiter to possibly get the spot start tomorrow/Thursday? Bochy mentioned this the past week right?

April 16, 20241 yr Probably an unpopular opinion but I don't mind a nice day game series. Not all the time but a one off isn't bad. Breaks up the work day monotony. I would also like to take a baseball trip to Detroit. It's on the list but not very high given how remote it is. Unfortunately, the Tigers are out of town when Texas is up there to play Michigan at the Big House.

April 16, 20241 yr Umpires give so much latitude on outside pitches but nothing on inside pitches. That should have been a called strike if we're going to put up with the bullshit we got in the top of the inning. Got lucky with first base ump calling the swing.
