Pretty perfect game to take a three year old to. Was over before he got too bored and got to see a couple homers. Thanks @UTPhil2006 for the suggestion about the first game certificate, had plenty of

Will Tucker start his rehab  before the end of the minor league season ???

I'm seriously starting to wonder if we see him before September.

Front office and manager letting this team down big time. Make a fucking move to add an arm and bat Dana.

Crane ain't paying the LT2. We aren't making a trade worth a shit, the fact they signed Diaz and immediately brought him up should have told you what Crane is comfortable doing.

Can we all agree that this chump has zero fucking business being on the mound in any MLB park, even Oakland.

and I’ll throw the “Analytical” Spaghetti in the fire too.

no business

We need to sign a real leadoff hitter next off-season, Altuve has no control of the strike zone.

Any names under 30 down with a five year deal?

This team is in dire need of another allstar hitter.  The August schedule is not going to be kind to the Astros record.

We have one who's been out for two months with a "bruise."

Even if Tucker comes back this season, I don't think he will be enough. Caratini being back tonight is helpful, but still need another bat to go far.

We played over our heads in June.

We have 3-4 absolute zeros in our lineup every game, 1B with Singleton/Diaz, CF with Meyers, LF with Dubon/Loperfido, RF with Cabbage/McCormick. Even Bregman is pretty much useless this season. That means on a decent night you need Altuve, Diaz, and Alvarez to contribute 6+ hits or the offense isn't scoring against the sorcery that are AAAA pitchers, let alone the really good pitching staff of Seattle, just be happy that their offense has no good hitters right now. This team doesn't take walks and makes shitty contact on pitches way outside the zone.

We have 3 good starting pitchers and 2 rookies that are awful. We have 4 guys in the bullpen that we can probably trust with the lead, and all 4 have been overused and mismanged. The bullpen for the most part, even the good pitchers, like to give up walks and HRs.

We have one of the worst managers and he's leading a shitty coaching staff and probably the worst medical staff in baseball and a GM that takes is orders from a cabal of non-serious modern day baseball people.

Meanwhile, we have guys playing well in AAA and they are passed over for over the hill veterans that even the worst teams in baseball are DFA'ing. I mean shit, Salazar was playing well, but he gets sent down to give fucking ABs to A. Diaz. Like seriously what the fuck.

I'd bring up Leon, Wagner, and Whitcomb and play them everyday at 1B, CF, and LF.

Kyle Tucker did some outfield work today at the Coliseum, but Joe Espada said "there still is not the pushing or strength we'd like to see, but it's better." Tucker is hitting in the batting cages and Espada said "that's actually the activity it feels the best."

Trade for a pitcher ????

shiiiiiiit ….

Penn Murfee threw a bullpen today at the Coliseum. Joe Espada said he could throw one more before possibly going on a minor-league rehab assignment.

Actually, I am hearing from sources that Aledmys Diaz is a big clubhouse presence and the players love him. They know he's going to play just as much as Kessinger but also provides a veteran leadership to the team. He does have value. https://t.co/PeYNXxKJLJ

The Astros have had scouts look at White Sox pitcher Erick Fedde and Cubs pitcher Jameson Taillon, per Jesse Rogers. Houston needs pitching.Fedde is a free agent in 2026 and will get paid $7.5M next year. Taillon is a FA in 2027 and has two years of $18M each year.

This is what I posted that Dana said the day after they signed him.….and then he proceeds to start his first game getting called up.

You know, the same number of starts as Kessinger has all year

So, team, who we gonna get at the deadline from the handful of sellers?

Nothing significant.  Outside of JV1 and Greinke we never have.  The trade deadline is highly overrated in importance.
