Pretty perfect game to take a three year old to. Was over before he got too bored and got to see a couple homers. Thanks @UTPhil2006 for the suggestion about the first game certificate, had plenty of

Forrest Whitley tossed a scoreless inning with a strikeout last night in his return for Sugar Land. The right-hander was up to 99.1 MPH with the fastball. #Astros

Did he go back on the IL? If he could stay healthy, he could help the bullpen out.

#10905

You nonbelievers will get religion after the LMC-Whitley tandem start clinches the World Series this fall.

And yes, both will immediately go on the IL afterward.  Assholes

It’s the summer of 2015. You’re scurrying from Truck Yard to MMP with this guy on the bump and there’s not a single bandwagon fan in sight. The golden age of Astros baseball is beginning and you have no idea.

This is literally the fucking definition of bandwagon post...Truck Yard didn't even exist.

Lucky's or Home Plate.

What little I've seen on MLB concerning the weekend series suggested Baltimore never actually bothered to travel to MMP. The pundits can't quite get their heads around the reality of it and clearly don't want to credit Houston for having pulled the shocker. Can't say I blame them for being stunned, because we all were...but let's not ignore how impressive the Astros were.

If we are over .500 at the AS break with confirmed return dates for Garcia and McCullers, I will start to think our streak will continue.

The big 3 bullpen is starting to show more elite performances than not.

In June, they are 0-2, 9 Hld, 7 Sv, 27 IP, 2.15 era, 0.920 WHIP, 9 BBs, 30 Ks, 3.33 SO/BB. The last 2 need to be higher. The team is 8-2 when they pitch, and the team is 13-7 so far in June, which is a 105 win pace.

I keep saying if we are within in 4 come all star break, we winning this bitch.

I think we win the division even if we aren't within 4 by AS break. Seattle will blow it.

I have been riding that wave for awhile....i had a small lapse of judgement last week because losing to the white sox pissed me off to that point lol

That was such a bad loss to the White Sox that I'm still not able to fully enjoy the Baltimore sweep.

I hope we pissed off Baltimore because 7 of thier next 10 are against Seattle and Texas.

that sweep might be the kick in the ass they need to get focused

Damn some of you love an empty BA.  If it's between Dubon and Singleton, sure I guess.

Singleton is too fat and slow to be that sloppy, I feel when he has runners behind him he gums up the works, similar to Rowdy Tellez but shittier.
#10924

More fake tweets. Wasn't his debut or first hit. Just more fake news for twitter dorks to hate on the Astros

Mariners choked away a 3-1 lead in the 8th to lose 4-3.  Nice.

Rangers losing as well after leading early.

Episode 67 of breathing orange fire is up. I make a detailed and stat based argument that the Astros are actually a good team disguised as a mediocre one. Listen up dummies- this is actually good work.

Buckle up boys !!!!

Dana Brown on if the Astros will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, on MLB NOW:“Oh yeah, we’re buying... I don’t see as a club that we’re going to be a seller”

#10936
Justin Verlander is currently at 57 innings pitched. He needs 140 IP to have a player option vest for 2025, which is worth $35M. The Mets would be on the hook for $17.5M.With no return date in sight, can he get close to 14 starts to get there? There are 84 games left

#10937

Three weeks from today ?

Dana Brown speaking on Kyle Tucker on MLB NOW:“It’s really a sore bone… I think he should be back to baseball activity sometime this week… I am hoping less than 3 weeks for him to return”

#10940

Sooo many injured players ….

Victor Caratini will miss likely 3-4 weeks with his injury, per the Astros.Jake Bloss will start light tossing a ball on Friday and is likely to return after his IL stint. Luis Garcia is throwing 93-94 mph in BP sessions in Florida. His return could be end of July.

God damn even Correa thinks Tucker is a fucking pussy

Kyle Tucker took swings off a tee Sunday and "could start running within the next few days," according to the Astros. The team also said Jake Bloss is scheduled for "light toss" Friday and may return "shortly after his 15-day IL stint concludes." I thought this was against HIPAA

The Astros against Austin Gomber: Altuve 4, Bregman 5, Alvarez DH, Diaz 2, Peña 6, Meyers 8, Dubón 3, McCormick 9, Loperfido 7

How many games have we won since Tucker's injury and getting rid of Abreu?

Tucker has never been a wuss about injuries, so I assume he's out because it's still really sore.

a sore bone sounds painful

I’m not sure he’s with a whole lot more than $18m on the open market if he can’t get 140 innings in, anyway.

What Astros should offer Phillies is a dick up the ass and dirty sanchez as we win the world series against them in 2024.
