Pretty perfect game to take a three year old to. Was over before he got too bored and got to see a couple homers. Thanks @UTPhil2006 for the suggestion about the first game certificate, had plenty of

Lol, ok to clarify. They've been worthless this series against the Mariners.

2 games that didn’t happen that I wish I could’ve seen:

1986 NLCS G7 w Scott on the mound

2010 Rose Bowl with a healthy Colt

How filthy was Mike Scott?  Give me a last ten year Astro comparison?

Mets are ass.

Oh, looks like that's already been established...

They are 12-10 in the 2nd half, we are 12-9. They just play in a division with real teams, where we play in a division of light weights. Mariners added +21 to their run differential this weekend. They came into the weekend +19.

Dallas Keuchel's 2015 season.  With significantly more strikeouts.  At least in 1986.

Great article about Scott's development of his splitter.

Just glancing at the Mets schedule and it appears that, even if the Mets sweep the A's this week, they will still have a losing record against our division of light weights this season.

Not sure there’s a great comp, but 2018-19 JV and/or Cole are probably the closest statistically.

In the 86 NLCS, he started 2 games and went:

18 IP; 1 ER; 19 K; 1 BB; 8 H

Those Mets players readily admit they wanted no piece of a G7/Scott.

You should probably rethink this post, you are not making the point you think you are making.

Framber's WS performance against the Phillies is probably the closest thing to Scott's 86 NLCS.

It’s time …..

Forrest Whitley struck out 2 over a scoreless inning tonight for Sugar Land. His last 14 outings:0.00 ERA | 14.2 IP | 4 BB | 17 K#Astros #Relentless

My Whitley stock looking good on the penny exchange.
he’s not apparently in their plans. Turd Ferguson got to get those leverage innings.

Yeah. I think Ort is fine.
this bullpen gets really good when it’s as follows (in order of appearance imo:)

Hader

Abreu

Presley

Scott

Ort

whitley

mumfree

paired with 6 man rotation when JV gets back. Good luck fuckers. It won’t happen, but a girl can dream.

To follow up on 3putt’s post.

A 1.83 pop time consistently would put Walker Janek with the fastest pop time in MLB this season. https://t.co/AEhwgivXOa

Comments on Janek on draft day. Have you two thought about going into scouting?

I asked him a question based on what he said for clarification, why didn't you post that as well?

So the playoff lineup would probably be Diaz and Caratini rotating at catcher and DH, right?

You’re right. My apologies. We’ll leave the scouting to 3putt as long as he gets the names right. You’re more of the GM-type anyway.

I believe the organization has clearly stated Janek will remain at catcher. Normally I’d side eye that, but they usually stick to their guns. See Yordan playing LF.
