I’m just glad I survived another season of being the official thread starter. Thank you all for your continued support in this emotional time.   In more ways than one with tonight’s result:

At least the Astros are getting a good season out of Bregman before he leaves.

Bregman loves August. Career 1.002 OPS in the month, also 37 38 HRs the most of any month in his career. Also, has 68 69 2Bs in the month, also the most by nearly 30 2Bs.

Appears one fan is less than impressed with Kirby's effort.

Bregs is really, really well liked by the casual fans and he doesn’t have a metal ankle like Correa. Crane is going to catch some major shit if he lets him walk.

More like two good months, and a bunch of JAGgie effort thrown in.

Depends on what he wants, he's making $30M, and until this late surge he wasn't going to cover that cost in WAR this season.

Hopefully he’s deciding after winning WS #3 !

WAR doesn’t measure clubhouse presence , on the field swagger and leadership

Ok Maldonado.

Perhaps the best part of this whole hot streak is burying the Rangers. They unwisely didn’t sell at the deadline. Now they get to watch the playoffs at home without any new prospects.

Please go punch that kid near the mic

Dubin is our 5+ run closer.

I'd resign him over Verlander in the offseason.

I was close to telling Scraps I’d Venmo him 50 if he showed proof that he took him out.

The hardcore baseball dorks that argued Kikuchi had the second best stuff of SP available at the deadline appear to be correct.

DFA Meyers. 9th batter at least.

He and McCormick are in a desperate race to the bottom. Just inept for weeks on end.

Pressly being thoughtful and making it interesting for our entertainment.

Presslys such a fucking choad

We dicked up our bases loaded chances because we cadavers at the bottom of our order and now our dipshit gives it back.
