These were super well reviewed about 15-20 years ago.

Not my speakers, but if I had the room I'd buy them!

I had the smaller version (RS550) way back in the day and loved them.

The owner of the company got into massive legal trouble (a fun read) but the speakers stand for themselves.

$250... I bet you'll have a really hard time finding better sounding speakers for that price.
Let alone something that looks this cool.  I loved that wood color.

Do you drive a white van?

I totally know my wife would dig a giant pair of towers with only one grill cloth.

Yeah, I have some of their speakers and was there for all the drama.  What a dumb ass that guy was.  They made some nice speakers, though.

Sure was and sure did!

I just checked on the old price out of curiosity.  The original price of $1,400 in back in 2003 is almost $2,400 today.
Been awhile since I had that kind of home theater budget.

I remember driving 12 hours round-trip just to buy my pair.

I can't believe these are still available.  Find a Bigfoot center channel to go with them and you've got the start of a really, really nice home theater/music system.
Or just use them as a phantom center channel.
