What was Dadonov waiting for?

That,  apparently

They let March put it to someone a couple of times there so I guess I could cool off on some of the no calls.

That’s the call you make in this game?

Well to be fair they also called Benn for interference for getting pushed into the goalie.

I actually didn’t have a problem with that call. It was in the crease, and Benn didn’t do much to avoid the contact.

Why did you dumbasses run off Chewy?

Things can change, obvs. But this series just isn’t all that competitive.

Agree. Vegas was a bitch.

Avs looked like they didn't even want to be there to start the game. And the stars pushed their shit in for 2 periods. It obviously isn't over but with the way the stars are playing right now... sure feels good.

These playoffs are backwards. That was a conference finals series.

That was satisfying. However much we bitch about the play on the ice, we've held one of most potent offenses to one goal two games in a row - all while adding to our goal differential. Got some luck, again which you need in the playoffs, but that was an outstanding effort. Especially considering we lost Roope early. I hope he's OK

mckinnon is their oxygen.  he's made some plays but we've snuffed him out pretty good so far.

Makar/MacKinnon/Ratanen a combined -9 tonight.

But the avs certainty aren't top heavy. They seem balanced enough

Wonder if roope already had an issue that caused his lackluster play this postseason that was aggravated by the cross check.

Man shooting a 63 in a 3 man scramble is on point. Props.

Goddamn that was a fun watch on our plane ride home from SLC! Let’s close this shit out Wednesday and get some rest.

He’s also been blocking shots with his body like crazy taking pucks all over pretty tough.

Let’s get this series over early in 5 and fucking rest the old guys so they can show the fuck up

We get to go for the very rare backdoor sweep Wednesday.

Miro kind of had a good game tonight:

I'm happy about the win, but also mad the fucks blew the 3 goal lead in game 1. Should have and could have swept the Avs.

Yep

I would be stunned if Val returned to Colorado under any circumstance moving forward based on this:

Last part first

When asked if those two entities he spoke of — Nichushkin and his team — can ever come together again, Bednar was also efficient with his words.

“I have no idea,” he said.

I'd be stunned if he returned to anywhere in the NHL.  He's just a garbage human being who has burned bridges everywhere he has been.

OTOH he can score goals, and there are always stupid, desperate GMs in the NHL.

that was the original knock on him. there was question before the draft about his attitude and whether he really wanted to play in north america. when he first went back and played in the khl I honestly thought he'd stay there. if he gets clean I'm certain there is a gm who will pick him up if he decides to come back

Tanev cleared. Roope going in for testing. I hope BeBoer puts Benn out for a shift against MacKinnon and he just runs over and through him.

Great game last night.  We sense they were wounded early and just attacked.  Then strong close out 3rd period to put it to bed without any issues.    Guess nothing about Roope yet.  Hopefully he isn't out long term.  He's clearly been battling something (or multiple things) for a while so hopefully just aggravation that gets better with some rest (particularly if we can close it out tomorrow without him) and not something new.

Yeah, they would call it "day-to-day" whether he could go tomorrow or shelved until November right?  I know hockey always vague with injuries in the playoffs but pretty sure not the same level of disclosure obligations compared to the NFL.    I thought Hakanpaa would have been back 2 weeks ago based on what was said before the playoffs.

Close this fucker out tonight and get Roope all the rest  & therapy he needs.

Petrovic is better than Lundquist.  He has zero potential, but he's less likely to piss all over himself out on the ice.
