April 21, 20241 yr If that ball hit Peyton it is the most 2024 Texas baseball thing ever, and that is what they call
April 21, 20241 yr How can talking about something enable you to see something in the past? And why not review it?
April 21, 20241 yr Just now, Pato del Muerto said: Pierce is mad at the wrong person Sounds like they wouldn't review?
April 21, 20241 yr Don't know why you would bitch and scream when they ended up making the right call.

April 21, 20241 yr I refuse to believe they actually saw that hit him, I’d be livid if I was Pierce. How do you not see it initially and then get together and say oh yeah we saw it.

April 21, 20241 yr Think Pierce could just call the LHN guys in booth and ask what they saw and think.
April 21, 20241 yr Just now, SameSame said: Why do you need one? Everybody knows the ball hit him. He is throwing a tantrum over semantics. Stfu. If everyone knew the ball hit him why didn’t they call it originally?

April 21, 20241 yr Just now, SameSame said: Why do you need one? Everybody knows the ball hit him. He is throwing a tantrum over semantics. That ball's trajectory didn't change one iota. I definitely think a review is reasonable. Just do it and move on with the out. Smacks of typical curtain call bullshit for Texas.
April 21, 20241 yr Just now, ClubWhatever said: If they knew it hit him, why didn't they call it when they saw it? The first umpire did not see it, TCU appealed and the second umpire says it hit him.

Smacks of typical curtain call bullshit for Texas. It hopped up and slowed down. I agree a review would have been nice but you can see hop up off his calf in slow motion.

April 21, 20241 yr 3 to go and we’ll have given the last in-state Big 12 school one last fuck you on our way out

April 21, 20241 yr Good grief, review it or not, but the ball obviously hit Powell. No need to get run over that.
April 21, 20241 yr At minimum that should have been reviewed. No way you overturn that on the field when you didn’t make the call originally.
April 21, 20241 yr Nobody in the stadium knew it hit him. If they knew why didn’t they huddle on their own? It was a good ejection in terms of raising the temperature inside the stadium.

This was all unnecessary if the home plate ump saw it live. Make the call.

April 21, 20241 yr Lost in all of this is a shitty hitting performance against a freshman who couldn't consistently throw strikes, random bullpen guys, and Kole fucking Klecker. Abeldt is good.

Are there any other sports where you can lay into the officials and energize the building with 0 sporting penalty?
