Moore’s camp has told Bobby Burton that Trey Moore is returning to Texas. Nothing set in stone, but that would be a big deal, IMO.

It was so much better when only the coaches could act like this, am I right?

It was definitely better when 3-4 teams were buying all the talent with bags, am I right?

I like the freshman QB they played this year better.

No surprise there

Seems like this one might be pre-arranged

How about this guy? 880 yards this season and 600 two years ago at Wazzu (only played 3 games last year)

WTF? Van Buren is better than Arnold and he’s a true freshman. No way in hell he wins that competition.

Taquon Graham, Coburn, Ojomo, Murphy, and Sweat. Collins and Broughton seem like locks. Sorrell is an end and I don't know his draft prospects, but you can probably throw him somewhere in there too.

In Atlanta before the game the wife and I ate breakfast at a table next to Sorrell’s parents.  I didn’t want to whip his ass too much, but I asked him if he came in under Herman.  Dad said Herman was head coach, but they loved Oscar Giles and that was why he signed with Texas.

I also asked about Sark, dad said Sark is straight to the point, but the guy everyone listens to is PK.

Since I already wrote this out i got one more quicky.  The dad was texting with Barryn at the table and dad texted him to go get some revenge.  Barryn texted back revenge makes it about Georgia, this is about us we are playing for respect.

Real nice family.

Sorrell came in with a really strong academic background (at least for a football player), that's not surprising.

Hassan Ridgeway make this list as well? I'm not sure, but maybe.

Nothing like the mighty LSU offering someone from…. Kent state.

Is he a good football player? Jared Verse was at Albany. Lotsa guys can ball at smaller schools.

Get ready to learn the War Hymn, buddy

As a Texas fan, I would love if Jackson Arnold went to Miss State.

As a sports fan, I think it would be really dumb for Lebby to screw over Van Buren.

So we're "kicking the tires" (I'm as sick of this already as "flashing" and "turning heads") on the USC RB and the Texas St RB. What kind of attrition are we expecting there? I'm guessing we lose Blue plus one more, and obviously the injuries factor in.

Lebby was was the OC that recruited him to OU, so maybe he feels like that would be a good QB battle? Or maybe this info is from the player's side and he wants to go to Miss St to reunite with an offense that he has experience in?

It’s also possible that Lebby wants competition at the QB position and feels like having more rather than less at QB is a good thing. Charlie Strong disagrees.

Yeah, it's not so much as attrition as we just won't know where Baxter and Clark will be after injury. Don't want to be in a Velton Gardner position again.

Van Buren can play. Might be his ticket out of Starkville. Blessing in disguise?

It's also possible that Lebby hates Jackson Arnold so much that he wants him to transfer just so he can enjoy watching him rot on the bench.

Almost certainly the latter.

Golly they've lost another 5* 😮

Who are the most likely out the door guys? Burton said he's expecting at least 10

Akana, Gullette, Agbo, Stroh, Finkley, Jayvion Cole, Niblett, Blue, Roberson, Savea

Niblack? Spencer Shannon? Dubose? Conor? Chatman?

I dont think Cole is transferring. I believe he red shirted. Niblack may be back as well. Blue, well, I dunno. He can't stop fumbling so I don't care.

It was better when athletes were the only students at the university who weren't allowed to transfer to any other school whenever they wanted. You know, they need to be treated just like every other student except they have to be locked where they are so I can watch them play sports.

I think more importantly than how highly touted the recruits are or were that are leaving, but the Aggies have lost 2/5 of their starting O-Line from this year. Though I think Shanahan got injured halfway through the year? Anyway, a bad room gets even worse for them and I love it.

Not gonna panic about getting guys, especially at WR, but just fwiw

Hopefully we don’t do that dumb shit where we wait to do visits and bring in players from portal and they end up at various other places and we offer them too late

Shanahan was a weird case, one of the services had him rated wildly differently ( on the plus side) than all the others, I think it was Rivals. He might have been considered the best player in the state. Narrator: he wasn’t.
