Moore’s camp has told Bobby Burton that Trey Moore is returning to Texas. Nothing set in stone, but that would be a big deal, IMO.

At the end of the day fame is fame, if you are Diego Pavia you are better off being the most celebrated player in a degree mill than getting a degree from Vanderbilt.

Assuming exclusive or of course, you can do both and that is his shot.

You’re comparing a flamboyant Heisman winner, who starred for a cult, to a random mediocre QB who will play for at least 3 schools, establishing himself as loyal athlete not once. We can blame the game for that, sure, but in the end, he’ll just be a guy with no allegiances.

“You played backup QB at Texas for 2 years? Get on my payroll, sonny! Here’s 6 figures annually.”

”You were at Duke for 10 months and left before the bowl game? How does my c-suite sound, good sir!”

You guys are simple buffoons.

Didn't OB say that Singelton was wanting millions and Texas wouldn't pursue? How that site still has paying customers is beyond me.

Sark's hates fast wide receivers with good hands just like every other coach in America.

Justus Terry was a big FU to Kirby. But Singleton would be too - coveted transfer WR in his backyard from their little bro rival

It needs one question.  Who is throwing you the ball? A guy named Arch Manning or a guy only people in Georgia knew about a week ago?

Not just Singleton. Implied that we'd be mainly sidelined during this transfer cycle due to the rising costs that our rivals and conference opponents will easily meet.

Brad Spence put up good numbers this year. 54 tackles, 6 for loss, and 4 sacks.

Brad Spence sounds like the whitest guy in the state of Arkansas.

However, Brad Spence is not white

CJ Vogel wrote this, last part seems like a hint:

On the note of Texas adding a punter – Bobby Burton added the nugget this morning that Texas was able to get former P Michael Dickson on the phone yesterday with Utah portal P Jack Bouwmeester, a cool piece of recruiting behind the scenes.

I was told the visit went well on Saturday and that there is momentum here. I am hopeful to go fully in depth about the visit details, say... early afternoon today.

All eyes nation wide will be on Arch and Texas next year. I can't imagine the ratings Texas vs OSU next year. Go play at Georgia for a no name QB or Texas with Arch. Should be a no brainer. Hopefully our targets are getting good advice.

That was the sixth best WR at OU this past season ladies and gentlemen.

That's one huge need addressed.  Now, go get a placekicker, I don't care how many handjobs it takes!

I guess I don’t understand what the argument is. Is it- this degree is worth an easy show up job in big time corporate America or is it- this should be pretty easy to monetize a little fame into a comfortable 6 figure living if you played but didn’t star at UT?
I think anyone that played and had a modicum of name recognition at UT should be set for 6 figures a year for life trading on that fame if they aren’t a screw up (mortgage, real estate, insurance, car sales, regular run of the mill sales, coaching football at the high school level etc) but those are jobs you actually have to do to get that money, even if the fame gets you in the door and the opportunity. And when I say fame I don’t mean VY level fame or even chance mock level fame, I’m talking Beau Trahan type fame. Tucker Dorsey seems like a good analog. 1 year for UT. Played a decent amount, was known, but not even a starter. He got recruited in personally to Keller Williams, went on some pods where he got advertised and I’m sure he’s doing ok. I’d think any kind of professional services/sales job would be like that for a Texas athlete. Thats my world and what I’d do if an athlete wanted entry to that. I know you have a ton of irons in the fire and I’d assume you would do similar for anyone that had interest in one of your worlds, right?
Beyond that I don’t understand what people are trying to say.  Being quasi famous, even when narrowcasting, is obviously a good thing for a lot of jobs/opportunities/places.
