April 26, 20241 yr I've been watching old / recent SNL skits and found a few gems. Thought we could share of of our favorites.
April 26, 20241 yr these were definitely quoted more than necessary during the college years. fuck there were so many I’ll have to think about more.
April 26, 20241 yr My favorites are ones where they break. I have these two bookmarked for when I need a pick-me-up.

April 26, 20241 yr Stalk Talk with Walken is one of the best ever, but SNL/NBC has purged any versions of it from the entire internet

So many lines I use almost daily: "What was that girl's name you broke up with?" "BITCH" DAMN YOU TO HELL DAVID HASSLEHOFF!!! There were a variety of charges. He will never love you as much as I love you...HE WILL NEVER LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS I LOVE YOU!!! Stalk Talk from VHS.mp4
April 26, 20241 yr Author Alrighty... that was creepy and not funny at all. Who wants to see Pedro Pascal as an over-protective Hispanic mom?
April 26, 20241 yr I always like the one where Phil Hartman is Bill Clinton in a McDonalds explaining the Somalia conflict and warlords by taking people's food. It's also the only skit I can remember where Hartman came close to breaking, due to his mouth being full of food.
April 26, 20241 yr Bad News Bees… Larry was buzzing off! Was not! Then why is there honey on your sheets?
April 26, 20241 yr The bad boss one with Pierce Brosnan and Will Farrell. The Sinatra Group The one where Farley is a tourist on the Japanese game show. Holy shit. If it can still be found, the one(s?) where Will Farrell plays Robert Goulet and starts crooning rap songs. Oh man. So many.
April 26, 20241 yr My wife and I reference "Robert De Niro Face" more times than I would like to admit: and while I am thinking about Kristen Wiig commercials sketches, I am now hungry for pizza
April 26, 20241 yr https://youtu.be/ydqqPkHWsXU?si=0S3Ifvd434SDMhxe Robot Repair. Phil Hartman is a legend.
April 26, 20241 yr Martin Short & Harry Shearer - "Synchronized Swimming" (SNL, 1984) Martin Short & Harry Shearer - "Synchronized Swimming" (SNL, 1984) Posted by Videocloset on Saturday, August 7, 2021

I can’t find it online but the Will as GOULET and is joined his brothers played by Baldwin and Parnell is so stupid but it absolutely just kills me every time I see it. Something about old Spanish ships as a musical “it was opening night and two of the GOULET brothers were passed out and using understudies…”
April 26, 20241 yr In Living Color was way funnier than SNL Edited April 26, 20241 yr by WelfareBuysMyWeed
April 26, 20241 yr Chess coach: this is from the 85-86 season, which was one of the worst seasons ever. but this sketch always cracks me up. Big Time Professional Golf (the week after Nicklaus won the Masters in April 86) https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/golf-promo/2859783
April 26, 20241 yr 2 minutes ago, Rex Kramer said: With respect, that’s the dumbest fucking opinion ever expressed. Sorry you don't like black people.
April 26, 20241 yr The show’s peak was Bass O Matic. Loved Norm McDonald as Bob Dole demanding Pat Robertson to heal his dead arm. Sinatra Group. Do your business.
April 26, 20241 yr I can't get the link to embed. The Mary Katherine Gallagher Little Drummer Boy sketch is one of my favorites. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x566cai Edited April 26, 20241 yr by Jerry Callo
April 26, 20241 yr Norm as Dole “ah, who am I kidding? I don’t have a Chinaman’s chance of winning. Hey how about that for a campaign slogan? Bib Dole, Chinaman. Hard working, good at math!” Dana Carvey hosting the McGlaughlin Group still kills me to this day. Those sketches literally turned me onto watching real political round tables as a teenager.
April 26, 20241 yr Weekend Update could probably have it's own thread. Chevy Chase - "Generallsimo Francisco Franco is still dead" Garret Morris and his recap for the hard of hearing. "Jane, you ignorant slut." Emily Latella Roseanne Roseannadanna 'Buckwheat is dead' Dennis Miller and of course, the late Great - Norm McDonald.

April 26, 20241 yr ^ as much as I never “got” why Sandler got so famous despite not being all that funny, he and Farley were always brilliant together. Them playing the old married couple. Dumb premise but it just slays me to this day. Rip, Chris

April 26, 20241 yr I thought this was hilarious back in college...now it hits a little too close to home.
April 26, 20241 yr My friends and I would endlessly quote "Il Returno De Hercules" a badly dubbed foreign film with Bill Murray as an out-of-shape Hercules. It was never put online, except more recently in a tiny TikTok version: 80's commercials were great also. Colon Blow, Adobe Car, Yard-a-pult...
