Lol Austin got pumped and dumped on their tax credits

Let me know if any of their employees need to sell their Austin properties. I’ll even look up a hot Nashville realtor for them

Guessing they’ll stick in Tennessee but they have low taxes as well?

Compared to Texas? Last I checked, taxes in Texas are pretty damn high.

There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee . . . that says, fool me once, shame on . . . shame on you. Fool me . . . you can't get fooled again.

FWIW, Epic kicks Cerner’s ass. Epic is the product used by the top systems in the country, i.e. Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, etc.

Cool. More corporate welfare. How much did Austin and Texas dole out?

Not sure.  I wonder where Oracle will go after Nashville

This changes nothing for Oracle as next to no one moved to Austin from Redwood Shores (Oracle’s old HQ). (Beyond perhaps a small handful).  Certainly no senior execs did.

Nashville has been in the works for several years and Covid delayed it significantly. They already had all the incentives from the state of TN for the office buildout along banks of Cumberland river close to where the Titans play.

No clue why Ellison made this announcement as it does nothing and means nothing. He lives in Hawaii and the CEO for Oracle (Katz) lives in Florida.

Good riddance-- Oracle is the worst.

So you’re saying we should win convincingly?

Meh Meditech is the best.  Or CPRS.  Nothing but the best for the vets.

You may all go to hell and I will go to Tennessee /Larry Ellison

There's a pretty solid chance that he's not the only "Katz" in the Florida phone book.   Tennessee, on the other hand...

Everything kicks Cerner's ass.  Cerner was the king of bells and whistles and shiny shit....but that's it.  It's the Elon Musk Tesla of those platforms.
