March 1Mar 1 I thought Bond would be faster. He did only look fast against shitty teams/pre injury for the most part though. That Golden time is shocking and awesome. Edited March 1Mar 1 by Hank_Hill
March 1Mar 1 Bolden just made a ton of money and will get drafted at least 10 spots higher if not more. His tape proves it more as well since he's a tough ball catcher, clutch ball catcher, bad ball catcher...just whatever he's a gamer.

In the NFL, it depends on the weekend. More than a dozen CBs ran sub-4.4 just this year. 3 WRs have so far. There were 20 sub-4.4s last season, 17 the year before that, 31 the year before that. The NFL is different. 4.39 is fast, but he's one of dozens and dozens at the next level. Xavier Worthy on the other hand, is the fastest on the field every time he steps on it, no matter the team, no matter the era. If Blue ran a 4.29 then, yes, he'd one of the 2 or 3 fastest every time. We know Blue is fast. I think some of us are disappointed that he wasn't as fast as we were hoping, and certainly not as fast as he said he was.

I'm goddamn sick of all the Blue hate. He's flawed, we all get it. But it's fucking tedious to have his every molehill/tic blown up into a mountain. Some of you seem to think of him as Johntay 2.0. Give it a rest.
March 1Mar 1 Ok so, overall and so far, Texas has 4 players running a 4.4 or better 40. (Barron, Blue, Bond, Golden) KSU has 2. Nobody else has more than 1.
March 1Mar 1 I just think it's hilarious that Bond thought he could bust a 4.1x and then . . . well, he didn't. Still suffering from injury? Sure, maybe. He didn't injure his vocal cords.

March 1Mar 1 Guys... 4.4 is still really fucking fast. I get that those two talked shit but 4.4 is faster than anyone on multiple of the defenses we played last season.
March 1Mar 1 4 minutes ago, Rimbo said: 7 is not more than a dozen You're right. I still had the screen for 2022 up. It's 9 now. Point is still the same.

March 1Mar 1 Okay. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't think "2 or 3 fastest" differentiated by position. I would agree he'll be one of the 2 or 3 fastest RBs every time he steps on the field. Edited March 1Mar 1 by AnotherLawyer

Since 2022, top 10 guys in the 40 are Kalinin Barnes, Tyquan Thornton, Velus Jones, Calvin Austin. Several of things are rostered but have minimal impact this far. I actually scanned back to 2018 the other day. There were a number of guys that didn’t make much of an impact.
March 1Mar 1 Hopefully Blue sticks. It was electric watching him break a long run. Especially against Tceh two years ago.
March 1Mar 1 Saw an Edge ranking on the crawl that had both aggy in the top 5. They had a combined 6.5 sacks. Meanwhile 18 year old freshman Colin Simmons, playing much of the season as a rotation guy, had 9 sacks. Heard lots of excuses from aggy about the lack of production from those guys, none of which make sense to me.

March 1Mar 1 It's awesome to see this many Horns at the Combine and with a real shot at getting drafted. It's insane to think more could get drafted this year than last year.

March 1Mar 1 Just now, ztejas said: Ward and Shadeur aren't throwing, correct? Correct. They look the best of those throwing.
March 1Mar 1 Quinns main problem is his film. It's not his drill performance. Its that he's mentally handicapped when he gets shoved into the game.

Believe Babers had like 12-15 WRs have broken a 4.3 40. Santana Moss is the only one to have a 1,000 yard season in the NFL

But your boy Worthy is coming on. 10 minutes ago, TexasGolf said: I thought the mizzu qb looked good too Cook looked pretty solid. Low propensity to turn it over. Can move. No one in their right mind who's seen quinn throw against air thinks he sucks or isn't absolutely ELITE. He's been that way since he was like 11. He's a phenom. He's also incredible when he's "on" (Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Michigan in Ann Arbor) and inexplicably fucking terrible at times (OK st, Georgia etc)
