September 14Sep 14 Sanders family conveniently left out this nugget when bitching and moaning about Shadeur's draft fall. How many other teams got this call? Quote The Baltimore Ravens were planning to draft Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round with the No. 141 overall pick, league sources told ESPN. But before the Ravens could turn in the card, the former Colorado star let it be known to Baltimore that he didn't want to be on a roster with Lamar Jackson, where he wouldn't have a chance to play anytime soon, according to league sources. Sanders knew that Jackson, a two-time MVP and one of the top players in the league, was not going to be losing his job as Baltimore's starting quarterback anytime soon.
September 14Sep 14 There were reports going around that he was telling teams he wouldn’t come or something to that effect before the draft.

Barkley finally helped win a SB last year, but the gap between RB is not as big as other positions. Do we really need to go through the first round and find all the RB who did absolutely nothing? It's a complete waste of a first round pick, you can find value at RB later on, and thinking otherwise is stupid.

You can but if you think a player is elite enough you take him there plain and simple. If not someone else will.
September 18Sep 18 You guys are making the point: you only draft a generational talent in the first round at the RB position. In modern times that means names like Saquan Barkely, Derek Henry and MAYBE gusy like Bijan Robinson, Christian McAffrey & Jahymr Gibbs (jury is still out). The other names of first round RB's taken in the past 10 years are 2nd round or later production, value and grades in hindsight: Rashaad Penny, Najee Harris, Travis Etienne, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Josh Jacobs, Leonard Fournette, Ezekiel Elliott, Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, and Sony Michel. Anyways, the question is: Ashton Jeanty a generational talent worth taking at #7 in the first round? We won't definitively know until years later, but after two weeks, is he on bust alert given the hype and draft pick?

September 18Sep 18 The Giants improved tremendously upon relieving themselves of Saquon Barkley from their roster. The Falcons fucked up by taking BIjan? I'm guessing they are filled with ragret.
September 18Sep 18 Pretty much everyone NOT named the Chiefs or Eagles are fuck ups, by that measure. Or the Niners, but they didn't draft CMC either. The Panthers had to be elated to lose that albatross. Maybe the magic formula is to sign old RBs... it got Lamar over the hump. Edited September 18Sep 18 by Iceman

Well, I mean the DA report refutes a lot of what the cops say. It is clearly debatable since the cops and DA can't even agree. Either way, it was a tragedy for all included and he did not deserve the vitriol sent his way.
