Potentially winning every Big 12 series except a home series to the worst team in the Big 12 perfectly summarizes how weird this season has been.

    1. Hit around a good Friday starter  2. Come from behind twice  3. Get 6 innings from our Friday guy Pretty much everything we haven’t done this year

Same pitch was called ball earlier but it was a strike.

First pitch swing after a pitcher has gone 3 consecutive 3-2s is quite the strategy

Terrible call.

It was actually a hell of a pitch. Borderline, but could go either way.

No it wasn’t

Time to go to software to call balls and strikes.

Buncha haters

moving on to saturday.  just take the series right?

Grubbs is better than last year but he shouldn’t be starting Friday night games in a P5 conference. Sunday or Tuesday guy.

I know I’m not breaking any news but yeah.

Burning bad arms on Friday to steal the series on Sat/Sun is an embarrassing strategy for lowly, talent devoid programs, but damned if Pierce hasn't mastered it

Yeah, but we don't have many other options, if any.

Oh I know. And I think Grubbs could be a solid backend weekend if he continues on a good trajectory. He just isn’t ready.

New team nickname prairie dogs?

I admittedly haven't been paying close attention, but I can't remember the last time we scored four runs without a long ball.

This ends many weeks of sucking against Friday starters. Silver lining!

Great AB, Dee

O’Dowd would at least see three pitches before striking out. I’m just saying…
