July 23, 20187 yr WeWork is a house of cards, from my perspective. Their rate of expansion is going to be their undoing.
July 23, 20187 yr This thread may need to move to the Bada/Texan. Some of the scary crossovers from the incel thread and other things are ripe for manifestation in these settings.
July 23, 20187 yr So Sorry to Bother You isn't futuristic after all? I know I slept through most of her books I had to read, but I really missed the part where John Galt just wanted to live in a workers commune after all.
July 23, 20187 yr It’s the American capitalist version of the Chinese factory cities. Only a socialist libtard would be against it.
July 24, 20187 yr So the future leaders of America are going to be people unable to pick out a table and decide where it should go?

In all seriousness, though, you think the Clintons, Bushes, or Trumps know fuckall about interior decorating? Nancy Reagan was the last person with any fashion sense to live in the White House. There are plenty of other grounds on which to mock this dweeb. His inability to recognize an IKEA table is pretty low on the list of reasons to disrespect him.
July 24, 20187 yr Meh, who cares? A very different perspective on life that what I have, but different strokes.
July 24, 20187 yr "Co-Working". Does that mean whenever I start to have an idea, some fucker's gonna walk up and bother me?

July 24, 20187 yr I'm feeling extremely claustrophobic just watching this. It's like an overpriced version of the Pearl Street Co-op without the crabs epidemic . . . yet. Edited July 24, 20187 yr by dcbc

It's different because he also works in a "we" space. So most of his life is under this "we" corporate umbrella where everything is provided for you, for a price.

Yeah, I don't really get what the problem is. It's basically a dorm for young adults. The price includes meals and rented furniture, again like most dorms or greek houses. I need my personal space, but if it works for them, fine. I have a bigger problem with people who think they need 4,000 square feet in a suburban match stick McMansion for a 2-4 member family.
