Crazy story.  Bey has indicated that once he turns 18 he will almost certainly switch to Ohio State.  It looks like Tenessee will grant his release and good on them for doing what the kid wants.

The only reason I can imagine his mom and brother are doing this is because someone from Tennessee is paying them. The kid is from Texas, so it’s not like it’s about him being closer to home.

The answer is "money". Now what's the question?

Penn State’s AD should be fired for this. There is absolutely no reason this couldn’t have happened at least a week ago and you save your recruiting class. They fired Franklin two months ago.

Allegedly the kid has always wanted Ohio state but the Mom has already both taken AND spent the money from Tennessee. Was told she has to pay it back if her kid doesnt make it to campus...that aint happening

Penn state at 1 commit and 1 that might cut bait. I’ve never seen anything like this before for a program like that. How do you even recover from that?

Hopefully, never.

So Michigan already releasing signed players I guess...

"It was God's plan that Sherrone Moore hooked up with one of his staffers, got fired, and a drunk Texas oil billionaire was in position to offer me 2.2 million dollars per year to go to school in Amarillo! Wait. I mean Lubbock!"

He’s interesting in a CFB sense because he was set to succeed Heisman long-shot Haynes King after a remarkable career and a really good season by Tech standards. Tech OC Buster Faulkner has now left for Florida and appears to be taking Philo with him, and now GT is left scrambling for a QB1.

tl;dr - suck

Got it, didn't know he was the next man up in Atlanta.
