February 23Feb 23 The king is dead (fuck city 115 times in their goatass). Long live the king. If Salah doesn’t win the Balon d’Or this year then something’s seriously wrong; he’s been otherworldly this season. You guys also will get to fully celebrate this one (without the pandemic lockdowns of 2020). Edited February 23Feb 23 by Dutch
February 24Feb 24 Thanks. I will read later as my knowledge of tactics is suboptimal. At the half, the two Robbies talked about how Slot must've seen something in the lead up that made him think to leave Jota and Nunez on the bench with Gakpo at less than 100% and commit to stopping the City attack at midfield. I think we forgot just how great this defense could be when dialed in. Granted, a healthy Haaland would've forced some changes but it's nice that City gets to feel the sting of the injury bug for once.

They still had a $73m forward, $85m midfielder, a $69m forward, plus Savinho and Foden in their front 5 plus Silva, Nunes, and Grealish on the bench. Their forward options were plenty, they just ain’t as good as Virgil and Ibou.

Heard that Jota told Slot he wasn’t feeling well (don’t know if it wasn’t illness or a muscle thing).

February 25Feb 25 Since I only look at Facebook for memories on this day type stuff, today was the 7 year anniversary of me and Jive's trip to Anfield. Seriously, my bros, you owe it to yourself to make the trip. I've told my brother that he and I will need to make that trip in a few years since he's a Beatles fan and has never been to England. One of the best trips I've ever taken for myself.
February 26Feb 26 Slot starts his two game touchline ban today. @JamesPearceLFC · 3h Arne Slot and Sipke Hulshoff were informed of their punishment last night. The ban covers tonight's game and the home clash with Southampton on March 8. Assistant coach John Heitinga at the helm for both matches. #LFC

February 26Feb 26 Tsimikas, you are there to pass it in, not take wild shots that we all know won't work.
February 26Feb 26 I was wondering why we didn't have a match this weekend but forgot this was dumb FA Cup weekend and I'm very happy they don't have to play another match before traveling to PSG. Not bad to come out of that 5 matches in 2 weeks schedule with 11 points, 6 of which were over teams in the top 6 including away at City, and now holding a 13 point lead. February 27Feb 27 I’m glad to have found this thread. My boss is a big Chelsea fan. 10 years ago he assigned everyone a team in the EPL to root for. I got Liverpool and have been following them since.
February 28Feb 28 So at absolute worst we are 10 points clear at the top with 10 league matches to play.
March 5Mar 5 @JamesPearceLFC 1m #LFC line up v PSG: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Diaz, Jota, Salah Subs: Jaros, Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Jones, Elliott, Tsimikas, McConnell, Quansah, Nyoni. Gakpo misses out with an ankle problem
March 5Mar 5 Suboptimal. We seem to be back on our heels the entire match. LiVARpool! Edited March 5Mar 5 by mdmost
March 5Mar 5 Author Diaz and Grav with two of the worst passes you will ever see in the first half so far.
March 5Mar 5 we don't have any answers. i do wish Kvaratskhelia had stayed with 77 like at Napoli. he and Luka both wearing 77 was fitting. they're both magicians.
March 5Mar 5 Author This was a really tough draw. PSG have a lot of young talent and have been on a great run the last couple of months.
March 5Mar 5 Minor miracle to get through that half scoreless. Time for Slot to do some managing shit.
