December 4, 20241 yr It’s funny because I’m always referring to Levy as the Jerry Jones of soccer. * By “funny”, I mean nauseating and terrifying.

Levy isn't the Jerry Jones of soccer. He's the fucking Bill Bidwell. The guy doesn't spend money. Granted he's also not the owner. Honestly, this could be either really damn great or really fucking awful.
December 4, 20241 yr Well the rumors have been put to rest - Jerrah was not there to buy the team https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/tottenham-takeover-suspicions-involving-billionaire-30511415 Despite that I would say this: The main reason why he sucks in the NFL is because he knows the sport just well enough to think he can be the GM, but really can't. He doesn't know shit about soccer and would need to bring in soccer guys to run the team. He would spend money to make the team belter. The real question is would they spend wisely like Kroenke or like an idiot like Boehly?
December 5, 20241 yr Dang it. The alert that Spurs have a game is the Cherries scoring a goal. Come on boys!!!
December 5, 20241 yr Time for the club to have an uncomfortable conversation with Ange. This inconsistency isn't working. Dropped to 10th.
December 6, 20241 yr Author 4 hours ago, midtown said: Agreed. This team has plenty of talent. Zero reason to be 10th There's still a general lack of depth on the team. European competition, a lack of depth, and injuries aren't a good combination.
December 6, 20241 yr It's sounding like Ange is starting to take a lot of heat. The next few matches may very well determine his future at the club. Chelsea, Rangers, Southampton, Man United, and Liverpool. That's a tough stretch, but the three toughest league matches are at home.

December 8, 20241 yr I should turn this off. That was a weak shot and easily should be saved. Shit, fucking Zach Stefans could have saved that.

December 8, 20241 yr Christ Chelsea brings the worst out in this team. i just see the score alerts, I’m glad I’m not watching. Edited December 8, 20241 yr by Captain Ron

December 8, 20241 yr Oh, I get the problems are more systematic than just who we are playing. It just always seems to happen when we’re playing Chelsea. Edited December 8, 20241 yr by Captain Ron

Made it clear that he and the team love playing for Ange, love the style of football he wants them to play, and that they've been decimated by injuries this year. December 11, 20241 yr And it absolutely makes sense that Cuti is pissed. What is the issue? We still don't have a deep bench, I won't say that he's been rushed out, but this was his first game back and he lasts 15 minutes. It makes sense that he could feel like the team is cutting corners and he pays the price getting injured AGAIN. This is one reason why I am bullish on any money wanting to come in an buy the team (see Jerrah) - spending a little more money to deepen the bench absolutely makes sense. A few more adequate backups would be great and could solve a lot of these issues. And yeah, he (and everyone else) is fine with the coaching. It's specifically the spending of money (or lack of it).
December 12, 20241 yr Yeah, not spending on depth is killing us. MVV is out for a few weeks too for the same reason as Cuti. Rushed back too quickly because of a lack of depth. This festive period will challenge Ange. The club's history with managers suggests that he might not survive it. I like Ange, I think he needs to make some in game adjustments, but I think he's trying to implement something successful. I hope he gets the backing.
