Firing Ange would signal what most teams think about Spurs that they aren’t a serious club. Is he stubborn in his tactics? Sure. But at the same time this team doesn’t have the depth to hope to compete with a championship caliber team like Liverpool.

But at the same time this team doesn’t have the depth to hope to compete with a championship caliber team like Liverpool. this is why. a good manager needs to be able and willing to tactically adjust to what the game and opponent are giving him. ange doesn’t do that. do you chalk the consistent defensive lapses and issues defending set pieces to injuries/depth? i don’t disagree with the other points you made, but allowing him to just continue on in this manner also signals that we arent a serious club.

December 22, 20241 yr so little depth we have archie gray at CB.... boils down to Levy needing to spend. I would do almost anything for a leadership change lol... so much parallel of Levy and Jerry

But that’s not happening spurs had the 4th-highest spend (5th highest net-spend) in the summer transfer window. and we were all generally excited about the squad makeup before the season. keep spending money to overhaul the squad, sure. but it isn’t just about spending money. i

Need 2 more windows just like it.

December 26, 2024Dec 26 This is just the type of team that Spurs are currently struggling with. That they are going to drop this game doesn’t shock me at all.

December 26, 2024Dec 26 No doubt about the rebuld to compete in the top 4-6 but we shouldn't be dropping games to bottom half teams with this roster Edited December 26, 2024Dec 26 by midtown
December 26, 2024Dec 26 3 minutes ago, midtown said: This club is in shambles. Nothing seems to be working The team is ultra thin and they, like so many, struggle against a team that plays such a defensive block like Nottingham. Fans want a quick fix but a truism in sports is that those are few and far between. More likely we need to fully rebuild this team and take what we can get until it’s done. 3 minutes ago, midtown said: No doubt about the rebuld to compete in the top 4-6 but we shouldn't be dropping games to bottom half teams with this roster You might want to double check the standings on Forrest.
December 26, 2024Dec 26 Not pointing to Forest specifically but we've dropped points to lower teams too

I'm not sure what adjustments people are expecting. You can look up his record when VDV and Romero play versus playing Dragusin/Davies/Gray. Having an injury list of Vicario, VDV, Romero, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie, Bentacur (7 game suspension), Moore (mystery virus), Odobert, and Richarlison as an injury list is going to kill most teams. I'm not saying I haven't disagreed with things Ange has done. I would have liked to see Spence and Bergvall play more. I think sticking with Ange makes sense because the club made short term decisions for several years prior to appointing him. We talk about the rebuild because Poche, Mourinho, and Conte all said the same fucking thing. Levy kicked the can down the road until he absolutely had to rebuild. Successful teams don't constantly change the plan every season. The ones that have been able to have success with years of poor planning spent a fuckton of money. We aren't going to spend a fuckton of money. I'm saying at least give the guy through the end of the season.
December 27, 2024Dec 27 Author And Davies reaggrevated his injury in training. Out another couple weeks.
December 29, 2024Dec 29 I was just saying to my dad, Son’s PK chart wasn’t good, they were just going in. And another meh shot, saved.
