January 23Jan 23 I also put a request to Tottenham to move all of their updates, but especially game updates to Bluesky. Given the club's history, this should be a real no brainer.
January 23Jan 23 I'm sure Spurs are going to make things interesting, but they get the lowest seeded team in the competition at home to get a bye in the KO stage. So looking at the standings: At 14th, that means they can't be jumped by any team currently sitting on 10 points. That mean theoretically the lowest Spurs can fall is 15th place, so they are guaranteed no worse than being seeded in the playoff round. Get a draw, they can't fall any lower than 12th place - might just be enough for the round of 16 Win - advance to the round of 16

January 26Jan 26 I’m blaming GoLL for that oneYou should. He texted us seconds before Vardy did his thing.

January 26Jan 26 Ange better hope they come back and win this. He might not survive a loss like this one. It's more than coincidence when we keep losing players to injury. Yeah, we have a busy fixture, but so do other clubs. Something is going on at the club beyond just the injuries.

January 26Jan 26 The announcers talk about poor decision making. As if being exhausted doesn’t have anything to do with decision making.

January 26Jan 26 I dont either but that seems to be SOP for Levy. He sucks so he just keeps changing managers in order to shift blame. We are the Dallas Cowboys Edited January 26Jan 26 by midtown

January 26Jan 26 He takes his cues from ENIC and is the second largets shareholder no? Whatevevr he's fucking us

January 26Jan 26 15 minutes ago, midtown said: A valuable franchise with a one of the best stadiums in the world whose owner holds the team back from winning The bigger issue is that the team has no wide vision, no plan. You can't fire your coach without that. Look at Dallas - they just fired McCarthy, yeah he was a fat fuck, but I also have to admit 7-10 given his #1 QB down most of the year - impressive. What is the plan firing him?

January 26Jan 26 BTW - While I think the Cowboys are a lost team right now, I would call us worse than that - we're currently the fucking Jets, a team that also lacks a plan, but worse does thinks on whims - bringing in Rodgers, firing the coach, and GM, etc.

Not only do Spurs need a plan/vision, they need an ownership group willing to back that vision. Right now they don't have that. I like Ange, but he's not going to survive this, and as much as we can point to ownership, injuries, the number of fixtures, and anything else, he's going to get dismissed. I don't know if he can make it to March when he might have most of the players returning from injury, but at this point, there's a good chance he's simply lost the team. I think they'll wait as long as possible, especially with a Europa match Thursday, but he's not long for the club.

They can firing him, but I'm seeing flashes of 2021 again when Spurs were in the Carabo Cup Final - but fired Mourinho the week prior. Now they are deep in the Carabo Cup again and well into the Europa League ... and they are going to be just as dumb.
January 26Jan 26 For the record I was the one still in the club drinking wine when they scored 2. Sooooo... is it my fault?

January 26Jan 26 25 minutes ago, scottsins said: Don’t you already feel that way though? I can't speak for Schulz, but I can say I am very much a fan of the team, but getting very apathetic to the leadership. Watching this team just constantly do the same thing over and over and getting these results is just frustrating. You see a post like Derka's in the EPL thread (the one on the last 3 managers) and you see the difference between a team with no plan (Spurs) and teams with plans. The other 3. Conte and Mou are both at clubs where they have a lot of talent relative to the league. Forest, a team that was setup to play Defend and Counter, brought in the manager specifically for that and with great results. Spurs plan is ... What exactly? Buy our way to something? When we don't spend money? If I were Levy, the real play should be: This season is lost because of all of our injuries. We have 2 goals now: Win 1 or multiple of Carabo, FA or Europa League and Don't get relegated. So long as we aren't relegated, you're coming back next year. And we'll bring in some pieces to help now and in the long term. Edited January 26Jan 26 by Captain Ron
