April 27Apr 27 Thought it would be offside for Salah there. He made a play on the ball. Regardless of own goal
April 27Apr 27 They let off the gas with like 20 to go. prolly could have been 10-0. I think I saw they had 21 shots at like the 65th min Edited April 27Apr 27 by kingkoopa6
April 27Apr 27 They are talking about the back room teams that make these clubs go. That is what Spurs lack.

What I’m saying is this: Spurs win Europa. But it means that Ange sticks around for next year and he likely is shown the door a few months which sets up a new reset. And I will say this: I would take it. Spurs haven’t won’t anything since I’ve watched them. I want to see them do something.

Spurs haven’t won’t anything since I’ve watched them. I want to see them do something. 1) Let Ange stick around one more year - hear me out, we're not winning anything next year while more than half of our roster is still 3-7 years before their prime. This team is set up to win in 2028, not 2025. So, honestly, not really wasting much of anything other than our time next year. 2) Sack him at the end of the season. Or at Christmas/New Year's and let Mason cover the interim. Or whatever. 3) Sit back and enjoy the 2026 World Cup. 4) Hire Mauricio Pochettino. Profit. What a state we're in when I think this actually sounds reasonable... Edited May 1May 1 by TheBryMan81

May 1May 1 Big day. Spurs hopefully are well rested and ready to go today. Son is down for this first leg still. He is needed big time, I hope he is ready to go next week.
May 1May 1 I spent some time this morning looking at the world rankings https://footballdatabase.com/ranking/world/1 The breakdown of teams left in Europa is this: 16. Athletic Bilbao 63. Man U 70. Tottenham 89. Bodø / Glimt

May 3May 3 Christ. I heard he got injured in practice. Ugh. In theory only 2 more games that matter. The second in 20 days.
May 3May 3 I didn't realize he just resigned a new contract with the club this week too. He's now signed on until 2031 Quotes from the Athletic: Maddison is "a concern" and will have a scan on his knee this week. Solanke doubtful for West Ham but "we don't think it's anything serious". Sonny "progressing... We'll see how he's feeling by Thursday"
