October 19, 20241 yr You called that own goal? I guess I got a score another one. Edited October 19, 20241 yr by Captain Ron
October 24, 20241 yr Just now freed up to watch the match. Good to see we're 1-0. COYS!!!! Finish this off!
October 27, 20241 yr Offsides or not, that can't end up in the back of the net. Terrible attempt to save it.
October 27, 20241 yr I don't know what's going on with Ange, but in all the London Derbys we fail to show up to the match.
October 31, 20241 yr I feel like we give up a lot of goals on crosses to unmarked players at the back post, kind of like the one today. Is that a tactical deficiency of Ange ball? Or is someone not tracking back enough to cover the last man across the box? Thoughts?

Thoughts? announcer on the highlights I watched said Gray tracked a runner into the box when he probably should have passed him off to another defender and guarded the back post. He’s 18 so blame it on inexperience.

Ball on the right, LB on the ball, LCB trying to block the passing lane, RCB has his eyes on a runner potentially coming into the box or waiting for a cutback, RB (Gray) is marking a runner. The circled attacker is who the ball goes to and scores. Here's a similar situation against West Ham. Ball on the right. LB on the ball, LCB clogging the passing lane, RCB on a runner, RB is on a runner. Guy that scores comes in from out of the picture. The RB in this game was Porro I believe. So it's not all on Gray and I wouldn't be surprised if this is something opponents have seen on film. Edited October 31, 20241 yr by TheBryMan81
