Back to trying Kai in the midfield, which has never worked.

The Arsenal line-up to take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this evening… Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jurrien Timber start as the fullbacks. Kai Havertz in midfield. Gabriel Jesus starts up top. Let’s win again. Thoughts on the line-up?

Jesus just bagged a hat trick and tormented Palace’s defenders a few days ago. I would’ve been shocked if he didn’t start.

Agree on Havartz; I think we should’ve gone with Merino at L8.

Still…, Let’s. Fucking. Go.

Arsenal now have zero attacking options on the bench.   Not sure why Sterling isn’t on the bench today.

Pre-match Arteta said he “felt something in training yesterday.”

Haven’t seen Arsenal play this bad of defense in awhile.  Even Saliba has been meh.

💯. Surprising and we’re lucky to only have conceded one so far.

Saka leaving Palace on crutches, not looking great #arsenal
Arteta on Saka: “He felt something in his hamstring. He could not continue, he had to be assessed. We are pretty worried.” #AFC

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for "several weeks" due to a hamstring injury, while Raheem Sterling is also expected to miss "weeks" with a knee injury. I understand Saka will be a minimum of 8 weeks at least.

sterling out too.

How the hell did Gabriel not convert right there.   WTH

Arteta says he thinks Bukayo Saka will be out for "more than two months". The England winger has had surgery on his injured hamstring. #AFC
