Not sure if watching Pitt & Clooney outsmug each other will be enjoyable viewing.

Fun, but the more I consider the end, overly complex for the sake of complexity.

That said, Clooney and Pitt still have it.

It is seldom I sniff out the plot in a movie like this. But, there were some obvious giveaways that I dismissed simply because they were so obvious. It was a fun movie to watch waiting for my power to come back on.

Fun buddy movie. No more, no less.

wasnt good, wasnt terrible.

the kids acting I think was a major reason for it not working.

that being said.

Spoiler

what the fuck happened to the kid's wound?

you know, the wound that had enough blood to completely cover Amy Ryans purse, then her blouse in blood?   it originally looked like he had something sticking out of his chest when Clooney rolled him over.  but other than a few tiny scratches, the kid wasnt oozing blood, certainly nothing large enough to leave a enough blood under him, and I dont think the basement Doc stitched him up.  and even if she did stitch him up... he should have had bandages.

He was cleaned. Duh.

Same. A few things were very obvious “saw that coming” moments.

And then the rapid fire explanation later didn’t make any sense.

Fun enough, but purely because Pitt and Clooney are such charismatic superstars.

A perfectly enjoyable Clooney and Pitt movie. I think it would have made money in theaters.

The release date was weird. It’s set during the Holidays, and has Clooney and Pitt in it. Surely that’s a Thanksgiving or Christmas Day release right? Release it in theaters on Thanksgiving. Apple + release on Christmas. Profit.
