June 19, 20241 yr So once every 30-100 years? Yeah, good reason to start posting Euro model updates a week in advance. Have you stocked up on shit tickets yet?

The rain event was a stalled tropical storm. What saved Lake Travis during the last drought was something like 9 inches dumped by Hermine in 2010. Hurricane Allen buttfucked Austin in 1980. But we ain’t getting shit from this one. You are the first lawyer I am kicking. Right off the damn ledge.

June 19, 20241 yr I had $20K of ruined hardwood floors due to Hermine, so no, I'm not going to just ignore shit in the gulf.

June 19, 20241 yr Man that part of Mexico can’t any handle the rain. I remember the river flooding like crazy when I was in Monterrey. The mountain run off was wild
June 19, 20241 yr I left the water on for my garden this morning. It's on a timer. Prove me wrong, rain!

June 19, 20241 yr This is Bolivar Peninsula right now. I’m guessing it’s normally 3 feet from the bulkhead to the canal and that water is 6” over the bulkhead so, +\- 2.5 - 4 feet (tide swings 6-12” there) above average and raining. 99% of that water is high tide or surge - not rain.
June 19, 20241 yr What a difference a week makes at the Sandcastle condos in Port Aransas… (click the Sandcastle live webcam link below the pic) https://www.sandcastlecondos.com/live-surf-cam/ Edited June 19, 20241 yr by Armybrat

June 19, 20241 yr Just about a foot or so over the bulkhead this am but high tide was around 8am. Guessing we should be back to normal by this afternoon.
June 19, 20241 yr Maybe Alberto will spin a loop and head north? Now ~ 400 miles from Corpus Christi.

June 20, 20241 yr Just heard that Alberto is hanging in the Gulf and potentially strengthening. Hopefully that’s old news.

Last recon flight this evening confirmed it's not really moving and it is getting (slowly) stronger - some 60 kt wind speeds were found vs 40 yesterday. It's still a giant mess, these winds are far from center, and it is getting closer to land. Doubt it has time to strengthen much more. The storm that is forecasted to develop in the same spot as soon as Alberto leaves is the one to watch.

June 20, 20241 yr Author The next name is Beryl. This one is sucking down dry air for the moment, but the storm is almost organized enough to get a name. Models didn’t have this storm forming, so I have no idea what to expect.
June 20, 20241 yr Popular Post "Beryl." How embarrassing it will be to have your home destroyed by that bitch your meemaw hates because she won first place at the county fair jam and jelly competition with the recipe for mustang grape jelly she stole from meemaw's kitchen. Not that meemaw's still bitter or anything.
June 20, 20241 yr "Meemaw" would be a good name. Everyone in the south would understand when you said that Meemaw fucked you up royal.
