June 11, 20241 yr Man, if Montgomery hadn't gotten hurt, I would have had aggy as the clear favorite.
June 11, 20241 yr Teams ranked in order from wouldn’t mind seeing win to absolutely don’t want to see win. 1. Florida State 2. Kentucky 3. NC State 4. Virginia 5. North Carolina 6. Tennessee 7. Florida 8. Texas A&M
June 11, 20241 yr Latest USA Coaches Poll I found (5/27) Omaha: #1, #2, #3, #5, #8, #13, #15, UR* *Gators not ranked in Top 25
June 11, 20241 yr The top bracket is 10x tougher than the bottom bracket. I will fade Tennessee though as their style of play has not translated well to Omaha under Vitello. Even without Montgomery A&M has a good chance of advancing out of their bracket. Kentucky has to come back down to earth at some point. None of their team stats stand out. They just do a little bit of everything and have won a lot of close games. Edited June 11, 20241 yr by Hookem2147

I did not realize that there were seven regional number one seeds in the College World Series - and then Florida being the sole number three seed in a regional completing the field. We are playing with house money now, and I’m just glad that I get to see a minimum of two more Gata games.
June 12, 20241 yr Yippee. 2 of my 3 least favorite teams in the Series. That being, TN and aggy. Whatever tiny amount of equity the Vols have due to my wife being a grad is wiped out because of their coach.

June 13, 20241 yr Just saw an CWS commercial on ESPN. A Texas player was running around the bases, flashing the Horns Up. And we're not even playing. I'll have to check next time to see if aagy is even in there.

June 14, 20241 yr I have watched the CWS religiously since 1982 and attended most of them between 1993-2018, and I have never had less interest in it than this year.
