Genevieve Harris really separated herself as the #1 setter to us (and many coaches) at winter NTDP Congrats #Decision26 @NCAcademyVB

She’s only 5’11? Gonna be weird going back to a smaller setter after Swindle

Henley Anderson joins the Texas 2026 recruiting class. The outside hitter from Dripping Springs is the No. 1 overall prospect accounting to PrepDig and PrepVolleyball.Anderson averaged 4.8 kills per set for her high school, which is just west of Austin.

I’ve watched her grow up and my kid played with her. Henley Anderson is the equivalent of landing a Bijan, Quinn or Arch for @TexasVolleyball. She will be a first-name only legend, too.

Last piece (my speculation) to 26 @TexasVolleyball puzzle Libero Emma Cugino PPV 197 our #2 Libero most #1 she’s is always locked in and means business. Used to playing in bigtime matches at club level #Decision26

Since I wasn't able to expand the Instagram posting from above, I found a tweet for Emma's commitment.

The Horns have secured a commitment from Pitt outside hitter Torrey Stafford. The 6-foot-2 transfer averaged 3.7 kills per set at a .358 clip this past season. She was a crucial part of them reaching the semi-finals in 2024. Her sister, Imani Boyette, played basketball for Texas from 2012-2016.

The last first Team All American to transfer after the season they received that honor was Avery Skinner (Kentucky -> Baylor)

It is pretty big news for a First Team AA to transfer.

Also don't forget about Ramsey Gary

Everyone has known about Anja for weeks, but I am guessing they had to transfer her student visa over to UT and wait to announce it once she was enrolled and her paperwork with the international students office was completed.

I cannot wait to see how we utilize Stafford as a passing outside + 3 really good littles in Halter, Gary and Anja.  Perhaps could end up our best passing team in the Elliot era.

And it means 2026 will be a battle between Gary/Anja for the libero jersey, with Krueger likely the third little.  She can get her feet wet in the collegiate game as a freshman without having a huge responsibility.

To Tstreet Volleyball Club—thank you for pouring your time, hard work, and endless encouragement into my development over the past seven years. You’ve given me not just coaching, but a second family. To Spiker Beach Volleyball, thank you for taking me in and surrounding me with athletes and coaches who’ve pushed me to become both a better player and a better person. Especially to my parents who have been my biggest cheerleaders from the very beginning—whether it was driving me to practices, cheering me on at tournaments, or just being there through the highs and lows, I truly couldn’t have done this without you. A huge thank you to all the coaches who have poured into me and helped shape me into the player and person I am today. Coach Heather, Coach D’Colby, Coach Kane, Coach Angel, Coach Te’o, Coach Davon, Coach Washington, Coach Joe, Coach Rachel, Coach Keller and all the Austin High Coaches—thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and helping me grow on and off the court. To my Austin Performance Volleyball family, thank you for a memorable three years and gifting me the pleasure of calling AP home. And thank you to all my teammates, past and present. I also want to give a special thanks to D’Colby and Caitlyn for being such an incredible support system during this process. Your encouragement and guidance have meant so much to me. And last, but not least a HUGE thank you to Coach Elliot, Coach Hunt, Coach Josephson, and Coach Canter for giving me this opportunity to be apart of something special and making my dreams come true. Hook ‘em! 🤘🧡 #commited #volleyball #ut #hookem".

Sophee Peterson, the #1 high school volleyball recruit in the nation for the Class of 2027, has committed to Texas A&M University. Peterson, a setter from Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, Texas, led her team to a 40-1 record and a #1 national ranking, according to the Austin American-Statesman. She was also named a first-team All-American.

We don’t need a setter in that class since we have Harris coming in 2026
