220 221 whatever it takes. RIP.

Losing him and Dabney Coleman so close is strange because I always kind of thought of them similarly.

So subtly funny.  He was always great.  RIP...this is just another reason getting old sucks.  You watch all of your screen favorites die.

He gets up to heaven, Jessica Walters asks him if he wants a beer.

"It's 7 in the morning".

Scotch?

RIP

Always loved Martin mull going back to Fernwood To night. That evolved out of Mary Hartman mary Hartman. I’ve never seen it in syndication.

We're headed for the Cumberland Gap, no crap!

He was great on Rosanne, It's Gary Shandling's Show and Larry Sanders.

One more for the he was alive? list.

He really shines in Clue.  His lines were the least funny of any character and he punched them through.

Damn. RIP. Always loved him.

He was also great as Russell the drug abusing pharmacist on Big Bang Theory.

When I was a senior in high school some friends and I performed this song in the annual talent show. The director objected to the use of the word “rubbers” so we changed it to “Trojans” which she found acceptable.

Charlie Sheen played a great astrophysicist on Big Bang Theory.

Wait, how did he die?  He wasn't impaled on an aluminum Christmas tree, was he?

Lol. Shit, how did I fuck that up? Obviously i meant Two and a Half Men but holy crap, what a brain fart. I searched out the video okay. Then something went horribly wrong. Wild.

He was also a painter.

One of his paintings was accepted by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I listened to a WTF episode with him a while back and he started out in show business as a comedic musician and found some success, opening for Springsteen and Billy Joel in the 70s.  Talented guy.

I thought, without checking, that Col Mustard was in Raiders of the Lost Ark to say We have top men working on it right now.  That was his lookalike, William Hootkins.

I never really considered it, but it dawned on me after reading your post that you're absolutely right.  They were remarkably similar in how they played characters.

You could have switched them out in both Mr. Mom and Tootsie.

Or 9 to 5. Any of those overconfident, dickhead, misogynist roles.
