Just finished this. Going against the grain here, but I thought it was boring. It picked up a little when Defoe checks in but over all, a snoozer IMO.

Note: I had never heard of the director or seen any of his previous works. Went in blind, maybe that played a part?

Dude gets a u up text from some strange and uproots his grave after centuries to travel across the sea just to nut once and die. Down bad.

Saw it tonight.  I'd say good, not great.  I thought it dragged a bit, or was maybe just a little disjointed.  I was distracted by some of the visual production techniques -- hard pans and zooms that would abruptly stop, etc.

I will say the late scene where you see the hands in shadow through a window was a great nod to a visual everyone inherently knows, and that whole last sequence was fantastic.

Just finished the extended cut on peacock. It was fine. I don’t like horror and don’t think this was even really much in that genre. Overall ok, but I didn’t like

Spoiler

That the villain was vanquished because he forgot what time it was

Go watch The Northman. You might not like it but you won't be bored.

Well it's not exactly an original story.

I have seen this but had no idea who made it. I thought the ending sucked, but overall it was ok I guess.

Well there you go! Sounds like you're not a huge fan of his 😂

Which I get. Not a director I'd expect everyone to enjoy.

I don’t recall a Witch in Nosferatu.

She appeared right before the Godzilla cameo.

GDit, must’ve been on the phone and not paying attention to the movie.

It was right before Will Smith saved the world from aliens.

Don't listen to him.  He's just being silly.

Looks like a rewatch is in order to catch all the stuff I missed first time.
