There are holes in other spots but the biggest issue remains middles.

We needed to add an experienced middle from the portal. Singletary is good defensively (at times) but other than that we aren't getting much of anything from our middles.

Agreed but setter not helping them.  Consistently poor passes to them it felt like.  And feeding Wenaas and Devin was the strategic error that cost us game.  Setters played poorly.

How did I not notice Indiana has a 5’3 setter? Their other setter is 5’10 so I guess they run a 6-2 because no way you let any of them in the front row

During that one rotation, those are your pin hitters.  They can't seem to find any offense out of the middles so, especially when out of system, the setters are going to the pins.  In the aggie game that was a disaster.

Back row attack with Skinner is a great option if in system at all.

Hosting a super is out of reach now, so let’s focus on winning the conference and hoping for a favorable draw. We’ll likely have to play at Pitt, Nebraska, or Stanford in the sweet 16/Elite 8

That was dead and buried before the aggy loss. We were going to have to go undefeated or with 1-loss to even have a prayer of being top 4 seed with our schedule.

Texas had 1 Top 10 win on the resume - Wisconsin to open the season.  We lost to Stanford and Minnesota, the only other teams in the committee's top 16 that we played, so 3 total matches against the committee's top 16.

Nebraska, in addition to playing other highly ranked B1G teams, also played Kentucky, TCU, SMU, Creighton, Stanford and Louisville.  5 of those were in the committees top 16.

Pitt, in addition to playing other highly ranked ACC teams, also played Oregon, USC and Penn State.  All 3 of those are in the committee's top 16

Stanford, in addition to playing other highly ranked ACC teams, also played Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Nebraska and Kentucky.  4 of those in the committee's top 16

Louisville, in addition to playing other highly ranked ACC teams, also played Wisconsin, Tennessee, Penn State, Missouri, Creighton, Kentucky, Nebraska.   4 of those in the committee's top 16.

Ignoring the loss to Miami, and aggy after the committee reveal, the SEC teams did us no favors - Kentucky and Florida both are big let downs and we didn't schedule tough enough in non-conf play.  The ACC has 4 teams in the top 16, the B1G has 7, fuck, even the Big 12 has 2.  The SEC has 1 - us.

Finally back in action tonight at 8pm on SEC Network versus Mizzou, who comes in on a 6 match winning streak.  Marina Crownover returns to Austin.

Texas still has outright first place of the SEC at 7-1, but Mizzou is hot on our trail at 6-2, along with Kentucky.

Is there a way to cast this to a tv? I’m watching in the espn app, but my wife wants to also watch? I don’t see a Google cast option.

I realize Mizzou has a decent team. I'm just not accustomed to us having so much trouble controlling points. Even the ones we're winning don't really seem to be under control. We're scrambling to stay in points we should be dictating. This is our concern, dude.
