We've moved past that mid-season pothole and are rolling. Stay healthy and focused and see where this goes. The other powers know we're still hard to kill.

Mari and Madi are First Team All-Southwest Region
Rutherford was Honorable Mention

Ames is Southwest Region Freshman of the Year (Parra is the Southwest Region POY)

Typically you have an all-region team to be considered for All American honors.

Wonder if this is somebody we take a look at.

Caylen Alexander, who led the NCAA in kills, has entered the portal. The 6-foot outside hitter recorded 611 kills this year. Alexander has one year of eligibility remaining. https://t.co/QfxijlbBRJ

Texas needs to look for a DS, an OH and likely a backup setter when/if Swindle is gone. And an OPP if Devin finally calls BS on Elliot making her a starter next year

I will have a big sad when/if Ella leaves

Agreed, priority should be DS. We have so much pin and MB talent already here and top recruits coming in. DS/libero transfers are arguably why we won our 2 natties.

It will depend on what Elliot thinks. Ride with the youngins at the pins (well we have Devin and Whitney, but mostly AVW and Spears) and focus on a DS, maybe one with multiple years who can step in at libero in 2026, or do you start recruiting over your pins?

Alexander would continue our current “play at Gregory and then transfer to UT” pipeline that includes Akana, Fleck, Barnes

I really like Ulmer. I’d love to look at him when Elliot finally hangs it up. Because we aren’t getting Busboom Kelly, she’s literally getting the call 5 min before Cook retires

I would be pretty surprised if we didn't hire Sullivan if Elliott ever retired.

If he wants the job, sure.  He's turned down a lot of HC offers.

Also CDC may want someone with HC experience.

But he's only 56.  Russ Rose coached until he was 68

Yeah, I would be pretty surprised if Elliott retired anytime soon. With NIL, he now has a major advantage in recruiting and the portal.

He has a couple more titles in him.
