July 26, 20241 yr The sound mixer is doing an awful job. Commentators mikes are way too loud, the main event audio feed way too low.

July 26, 20241 yr Saw a little bit of the ceremonies when we were having lunch. They had the vignette where the dancers were in the library, reading french classics, including some sexy ones. I made a crack about how they'll probably have a menage a trois sequence. And then they have an actual menage a trois sequence. God I love the French. Oh, and then running through the Louvre, past Winged Victory (my wife's favorite), and then The Magdalene with the Smoking Flame (my favorite)....just fucking cool. Recorded it, will watch the whole thing tomorrow. Just cool, and so damned French.
July 26, 20241 yr Also, when the Americans sail down a French river, it oughta be in Higgins Boats. Just sayin'.
July 26, 20241 yr I throw Yannick Noah as a possible torch bearer. For the record he's someone that just comes to mind as a well known French athlete with a big following. I loved his tennis play too.
July 26, 20241 yr NBC trying to kill the vibes with personal interviews. Stop it!!!!!!!!! This is the coolest opener I’ve seen and I want to enjoy it damnit. Talk to our people later.

The cauldron should be lit by a young, sexy perfection Catherine Deneuve's cigarette, after which she turns back to look at you, smiles, and then walks away slowly.
