Didn't he leave for the NFL because he failed out of school? I agree he wasn't a troublemaker though.
I don't remember him being so wishy-washy, just completely turned on UT after not qualifying. I would compare Javonne more to someone like Jordan Elliott, but to a lesser extent (Javonne doesn't have multiple decommitments).

I was going to reference Elliot, but thats kind of exactly who I felt he was comparing him to. Multiple decommitments, and then ultimately transferring as well.

Probably a lot. We should probably stop blasting our own recruits until/if they decommit. And even then, they're kids. They're stupid sometimes.

Bullshit...Chrissy Simms was signed in the class after Dunn, and Mack asked Dunn if he would rather play tight end or defense. Dunn said I'm outta here. $112M later, it wasn't a terrible decision

That’s the problem with linemen hanging out with the 7 on 7 types. They start to pick up some of that WR diva attitude. He will be OK when he and Yancy become friends and his true OL mentality is enhanced by like minds.

Or he could flame out.

You're right, he left early, I just double checked. Unless I missed something else you were correcting me on?

Yes.  He was suspended 6 games one year and then he left the following year because he didn't play school.

Can we just drop this guy and move on?  If (and that's a big if) he picks Texas, the chances of him making it on campus and actually contributing seem to be dwindling by the day.

I’m going to assume he’s talking about another Texas win.

But I’m an optimist.

This is the answer. Y'all putting so much into an indecisive high school kid that seems to like Texas.

I don't know about anyone else, but I had this one the whole way. Me and FWK nailed it. Right.

Great job, CTJ! Your insight into recruiting is always so spot on! You're such an asset to this board!  And you're so well-liked, too!

I think you're confusing him with someone else.
