Dallas Cowboys 2024 Season Thread -- Jerrah the Asshat Rides Again

Early impression is Brady is going to rubber stamp any call made on the field instead of using his eyes and being honest/critical toward officiating.

So basically like most commentators.

Hey did you guys know this is Tom Brady's first time ever calling a game?

He’s even more hamstrung than most, as I understand it.

He has been commentating for 5 mins. Give him a chance man. Jeez. There has to be a happy medium between fuck all ref calls/the refs screwed us and all calls are correct,

Well, there isn't.

at least they held them to a FG...very suspect so far.  Couldn't get to the QB the one time they blitzed, of course.

This is because all of these loser pieces of shit overpaid, whiny ass pussies sit out the entire preseason and take zero snaps while all the shitty practice players play the entire preseason so this is the first time they’re getting any game experience and they’re looking like fucking morons on TV The NFL is such a dog shit boring shitty ass product.

My comment had nothing to do with the crap in bold.

Dak...more proven, But of course i'd say that.

Already a dropped pass.

But Lamb is lamb.  Great throw and catch.

Tried his patented TE Seam pass...didn't' work

The bleacher stomping is obnoxious. And it actually helped us instead. Lol.

nice play for the TD.

2 good plays on that drive, defense made a great play on Ferguson's route.

Most of the time, yes, although once in a while, Troy will speak out.

More and more lately, as he has gained job stability.... but he's still pretty vanilla.  Nothing wrong with it, it's how you stick around.

It’s only a good investment if Cowboys win in the post season- win the actual NFC.

Otherwise it is just Jerruh being a shit GM. As usual. At least the path in the NFC is easier than in the AFC.

Agreed. Troy is pretty boring in general. I love the guy, but he doesn't show (have?) much emotion and just kind of drones on.

I worry Colt is going to be more of the same. He's just not the personality type for that job.

I do think Brady will be good. Just lamenting the fact that he'll probably toe the network line instead of having an independent voice ... for now.

Chump change...

Time will tell who the chumps are.

Over/under on $100,000,000 per playoff win?

The New York Football Jints do not look like a threat.  What did the rest of the Least do so far, haven't checked.

Better than this Burkhardt clown who thinks every 15 yard pass just won the Super Bowl.

I absolutely love the dude, but Colt was blood from the ears inducing yesterday.  No emotion, no real insight, his high voice and aw shucks attitude doesn't really translate to interesting TV.  I'm afraid he's going to be like the Jason Witten experiment.  Hopefully he can figure it out.  He's very green, but yesterday was really tough to get through.

Okay Defense...see you.  Needed a penalty to back them up, but i'm already seeing a safer, consistent defense early.

Quinn defense leaves someone wide open im sure.

Okay..... He continues to make some questionable discussions around punt returns.  He drops passes.  Really gotta wonder if we're not wasting a roster spot on Turpin.  Is there a more versatile player who can make plays???

#548

Jesus another 90 yard drive to score if they can...

It's amazing they continue to lead or be near the top in offensive production/scoring with such shitty field position game after game.

Almost as if the offense has been good...

Elliott doesn't look quite as slow as he did for us two years ago.

Btw, that opening carry of the game was the first time I've seen Zeke hurdle someone since 2018.
