The Brian Schottenheimer hire is the Jonathan Mingo of trades, the Taco Charlton of draft picks, the Terence Steele of contract extensions, the blinding 3pm glare of stadium designs.

Okay..... He continues to make some questionable discussions around punt returns.  He drops passes.  Really gotta wonder if we're not wasting a roster spot on Turpin.  Is there a more versatile player who can make plays???

I was PREACHING to let him go to keep another WR or DB.  Surely they can get similar return production with a better on field player.

Oh wow, Zeke for the first down.

#559

That's really what Zeke does best these days.  All that Center training paying dividends

OL will probably get better...BUT it's gonna take time.  Especially against a good defense.

#565

That play was frustrating af from a defensive perspective. Should've been a sack ... then should've been an interception ... end result, nothing. Second down.

#567

Ugh reminiscent of late last year.  All that "almost sack" and almost turnover and didn't.

#572

I'm old enough to remember when that was called clipping.

Holding?  They missed the block to the back I guess.

Early seasons Parsons is the best pass rusher ever.
Too bad he falls off a cliff as the season goes on like clockwork
#576

Just fair catch.

STOP fucking returning.  You'll get maybe 1 good return out of 10 and 5 of the others are fucking penalties.

Just horrendous....always putting us in worse field position.

#577
Punt returns are a waste. Everyone has a flag.
Agreed. I've always said just take the fair catch every time and be done. I think Romo has mentioned this before about punt returns.

Haha I'm not disagreeing with y'all, but we Cowboys fans are one jaded bunch, aren't we?

This fucking team is still so poorly coached sometimes.  Another long field because of punt return.  We'd do better most of the time just fair catching.  Just turn it up and get what you can..... and yes, I know the return was called for the left side, the wide side.

Notice i said "early season".

I've always thought it was a factor of the Quinn defense...the entire thing started sucking around mid December...sometimes earlier.  Gotta get him some rest during the season meaning others gotta step up.

#582

I know i'm a broken record but please, for the love of god, stop the first down runs every fucking time.

Yes you have to do it occasionally, but i swear it's 7/10 times or more.

All you do is put your QB in a bad spot with a young OL who isn't gonna stop this DL.

#586

Be a nice time for an old school turnover...

Feel like that might be the one thing we miss from Dan Quinn with this Zimmer defense.

#588

Yeah if it was a fumble, they'd blow it dead anyways and we'd be stuck with the ball there.

Glad the booth overturned that without Mike having to do it.

#596

definitely a DPI...but typical no call on dallas.

So smart just to get the sneak.  fuck handing it off to the slow back.

Brady, at least 3 times:

"It's bad to have negative plays."

Because Bellichik probably beat him with that over the head.
