The Cowboys should hire Ben Johnson.

I know we'll get a retread and hate it, but that's what they should do.

I would like that

The Brian Schottenheimer hire is the Jonathan Mingo of trades, the Taco Charlton of draft picks, the Terence Steele of contract extensions, the blinding 3pm glare of stadium designs.

And this bastard bought his historically inept ass in to cheapening the hall of fame.

he absolutely deserves to be in as an owner.  he's the most influential owner in the history of the game.

Elliott out tomorrow for disciplinary reasons.  Not that he would make a difference.

ATLANTA -- Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will not play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons because of disciplinary reasons, a source told ESPN on Saturday.

Elliott was originally slated to be active for the game. He did not accompany the team on the charter flight Saturday. Elliott's agent, Rocky Arceneaux, could not be reached for comment.

More on the reasons

Ezekiel Elliott is a healthy scratch today. The first of his career. According to a number of sources, Elliott has been distracted this season. Aside from habitual tardiness, he’s missed three team meetings with Friday’s meeting the final straw. Both parties decided it was best…

Well run program we've got here.

You know, in Europe fans have been known to force out owners.  It'd never happen here because even after the last 25 years, half the people in Dallas will be sporting Cowboy gear today.

Maybe we'll see a few paper bags covering heads in the crowd today, although I guess you'd need the network to show it. In any case, looking forward to another near comeback loss.

Aubrey.... our best player gets some points.  He'll be kicking for the Chiefs in 2 years.  2nd down play killed the drive.... it was there for about 6-7 yards if Martin picks up his block.  Bleh.

Zeke not missed.  Shocking

Hate to say it, but they should cut him..... Let him go ring chasing.  The sad thing is, I'm not sure he would get picked up on an active roster, but hey, PS guys get rings too!!!!

Good news is, so far, Dak made good throws.

First down throws was the important thing I saw.  Too many drives we start with 1 down runs for 1 yard.

Mike Zimmer is a fucking bum

Probably but he is coaching up a bad big 12 roster in terms of talent.  No DE talent, little IDL talent, the secondary is busted..... It's a bad job by the front office and then destroyed by injuries.  I don't think Zimmer has done himself many favors but it's hard to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Way too easy no pressure on QB.  Bijan is going to make it look easy today.

holy shit.  Dak is awful.  Late era Cam Newton/Famous Jameis vibes.

Two sacks to Falcons already, it will be a long day if Dak sets there like a damn statue

he doesn't really have a choice.  he can't run.

the OL is no bueno.

The best thing about not caring enough about this team today to tune in exclusively to the game is that I can keep up with it on Red Zone and.....no political ads.

The ankle injury really has fucked his athleticism.  He's a pretty poor scrambler these days after being an above-average one early in his career.  I think his lack of mobility is really hurting him with the shitiness of the OL in pass blocking.  He's got to be more definitive in taking off.  He's holding the ball too long.

Wow, this defense has absolutely no pass rush.  QBs have all day against the cowboys.  Zimmer does himself no favors by rushing just 4.
