No shit- should’ve fired McCarthy after the Green Bay debacle last year and let Quinn take over.

If Kellen Moore is really 6-foot then I have a 14-inch pecker.

And he's a total fraud as a coach.

We don't need some fucking boy scout to try to motivate these lazy fucks. We need a kickass sonofabitch - and that ain't kellen m

Fuck it - why not. My Son is 25 and mocks me constantly being a Cowboys fan. He’s NEVER seen them win a playoff game.

Hook’em!!!

It was DQ’s defense that was a gaping vagina vs Green Bay last season. Totally embarrassing that they couldn’t get off the field, besides a TV time out.

Dan knew he was out the door. Held his interviews didn’t care about the game.

Dan said fuck Jerry. And prolly gave pack the d script just to stick it to Jerry

I read in the Dallas paper that because Jerry just spent over 200 million on a 32 year old QB that his focus should be on a QB whisper. Someone like Lincoln Riley or Kliff Kingsbury.

Probably a bit overkill, but folks are chirping about this...... If they decide to extend Osa and Parsons then this will get pretty even, just the way the contracts match up now with Tank coming off the books and CeeDee and Dak going on it.  Stuff like this ebbs and flows generally.

#1 Here are the outstanding guaranteed cap charges on Dallas' books for the future:Defense: $61,441,536Offense: $272,313,266Dallas has 4.5 times as much money invested in offense. It's easy to see how you'd want your coach to have expertise in your biggest investments.

If true, then says something about the man..... Fuck that.  Detroit's defense being injured to hell is helping the Commanders a ton.  And the fact that Detroit is getting Gared Joff tonight.

Here's a reason why I don't think Deion and Jerrah could work together..... they have huge differences in approach.  Jerrahs' new cheapness is more Stephen driven but this isn't going away.

The Dallas Cowboys spent an NFL-low $18.85M in free agency last offseason (Eleven 1-year contracts). https://t.co/0Scyef0C1u

Regardless of how it ended, looks like Quinn takes them to the NFC championship with a rookie QB. Good for him getting away from Skeletor.

Snyder goes away, they get better players, coaches and they do what the Cowboys haven't done for 30 years.

Choke on it Jerruh, you loser.

Fuck Dan Quinn. He can eat a dick. That’ll never change.

Why? He was coaching for fucking losers in Dallas and his defenses led them to 12-5 3 straight years.

He's a damn good coach. He was smart to get the hell away from the Joneses.

Washington showing what getting rid of toxic ownership, and getting owners who hire football people and stay out of the way can do.

Cemented as the 2 biggest loser, choker, worst franchises in the NFL for 29 years.

Cowboys sit atop the NFC loser board now.

Detroit made it to the NFC championship last year.

Cowboys won't sniff it for another 5 years, minimum, if they're lucky.

Because fuck him, that’s why, Green Bay was unforgivable.

There’s 15-16 nfc teams and all but 4 of them had been to the nfc championship game in the last 10 years?

and the grossman/manning years for Chicago and ny feel so much longer ago than 2011 and 2013.

Because of 1 game? Where everyone on the team didn't show up and the 240 million $$$ QB shit his pants like Hudson Card? Nah, fuck that.

Dan Quinn is a true G. Amazing job getting to the NFC title game with a rookie QB.

Shout out to Biadasz and every former Cowboy on that squad. They finally got to a place where winning isn't prohibited by natural law

Grossman Chicago Super Bowl year was 2006/2007. The season Romo dropped the snap

But, wait, people on this thread told me Dan Quinn is a shitty coach and Dak isn't a piece of shit who chokes on a huge dick any time there is a game of any import.

Would DQ have won that game tonight (and last week too) with Dak at QB instead of Jayden Daniels?

#6922
- New Ownership- New GM- New Head Coach- Rookie QB- NFC Championship GameOwners (and fans) around the league are looking at their front offices saying, “why can’t we do that?”Just incredible work from top to bottom by the Washington Commanders organization.

This says it all.

Jerry the Businessman should fire Jerry the GM but he won’t. He only wants to win if he can claim 100% of the credit. Otherwise it’s just a publicity money making circus that no one fears and is a fucking joke.

Damn sure not with the D he had in Dallas.

Hey, great news: All of Detroit's hot assistant coaches are available now!

LOL

I think Riley's buyout is like $90MM or something.  he is not an option and people should stop mentioning him.

Dam Prescott had under 90 fucking yards at half and 2 INTs. One was a pick 6.

the defense was bad. Dak was far far worse

it was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable, in an elimination game.  it was sad and embarrassing.  and before even taking another snap he was rewarded with more annual money than anyone who ever played the sport.

#6931

Dallas HAD to pay Prescott.  Finding a QB at his level is impossible.

Yes but Jerry doesn't see he's the problem. It's just bad luck or injuries or bad coaching or lack of good free agent options or any number of things other than himself and his idiot cap managing son.

I’ve never once watched this show but I’m suddenly fascinated to see what will be in this week’s episode

Pregame talking heads, esp. Rex Ryan, are talking up Anthony Lynn and Deion Sanders for Dallas.  Rex believes Lynn is a really good coach and will be able to handle Dallas.

Ryan also thinks Ben Johnson is young Bill Walsh.  Neither Johnson nor Glenn are being mentioned for the Dallas job.

That 29 year conference championship stat is just nuts.

I think on the AFC side, Cleveland and Houston are the only teams to not appear in the conference championship game over that period? And Houston was just a shitty PF call and an average kicker from breaking their streak yesterday.

Speaking of jerry jones’ coaches:

“Here’s how I would’ve approached a playoff game if I hadn’t gone 8-8 every year …”

Lol.

You realize we're tied to Dak. There is no tanking for a top QB.

An all NFC East NFC Championship game. GM'ing the hell out of this thing.

nah, lose badly next season and we are in a position to draft high end QB and be ready to move on at end of Dak’s contract.

Washington and Philadelphia in the NFC title game while Jerry Jones and the Cowboys sit at home. Maybe he’ll have time to shoot another episode of “Landman” in which he talks about what happens to wildcatters when they’ve had 30 years of dry holes.— Jody Dean (dfwjodydean.bsky.social) (@DFWJodyDean)

“30 years of dry holes” sounds like my marriage.
