The Brian Schottenheimer hire is the Jonathan Mingo of trades, the Taco Charlton of draft picks, the Terence Steele of contract extensions, the blinding 3pm glare of stadium designs.

The lights are on. No one is home

So was that a fumble

Stupid but fun to win one like this. F the Redskins…err Commanders

Damn he launched that one.  Uncle Rico approves.

Hahahaha seriously prob the wildest game I’ve seen

definitely the stupidest

And they end it with Israel intercepting a bomb

A little political, but we'll take it.

Hell.... I've never even heard of anything like that.

That kicker I guess got a reprieve bc it wouldn’t have mattered if they’d gone for two, guess Washington’s kicker has the shanks. Hope he doesn’t infect our kicker,

fun right now but in about 5 months it'll cost us a better player in round 1.

so hear me out

Giants - win, Bengals on struggle bus  at home - win, Panthers suck - win

7-7 .500 and right back in it and who knows.  Channeling Kevin Millar.

I'm old enough to remember when 10 wins was a disappointing season.

People sure did say 12-5 basically meant nothing.

12 wins and the Iggles in the NFC championship.

Ok, that kind of sucked.  But still.

12-5 with no playoff wins does mean absolutely nothing. Who fucking cares about the regular season? They don’t hand out trophies for 12-5.

Aggie has spent a billion dollars on a community college trophy case and they sure as fuck would display 12-5 if we had that many regular season games. Winning!

jerry is still trying to recreate Aikman, Irvin and Smith in the aggregate. And a Hershel trade. And needs to spend more time working on building a Time Machine to achieve this than he does on being the GM.

lol why not fall down. Hahhahah

Was listening to Brad and Babe on the drive back from Austin. No discussion between them about the stupidity of the guy returning the second onside kick for a TD. Fall down and the game is over with one snap. Instead, Washington got to throw a Hail Mary on the ensuing possession.

Of course this is all a set up. Jerry signs Turpin to a new 7 year 200 mil contract, and he goes back to being the typical Turpin we all know.

nothing would be more cowboys than to catch fire in the second half of the season, still miss the playoffs, and drop us in the draft 15 spots in every round.

Today

🤗

Lol, tuned into Babe and Brad for the 4th while putting up Christmas lights. That was stupid in every way possible. Fuck Washington.

I sent the exact same thing in at least 3 different group texts.

At least we had the 92-95s.

best team in the history of football.

I'm also happy it happened to Dan Fucking Quinn. I will never forgive him for last year's playoff debacle. Fuck him, forever, he deserves this shit with that shitty franchise in their shitty stadium surrounded by shitty fans.

Seems to be a bit of a pattern.

You'll never see me again if he extends Mike. They need a full on culture change(owner included).

And yes Dan deserved that for his defense absolutely shitting the bed against GB in the playoffs.  THAT'S the biggest reason we lost.  Giving up 34 points(even taking away turnovers)

Yup on both. It's not even like Jordan Love was making crazy plays with luck involved, receivers were running wide open without a defender within 5 yards. It continued the entire game, not a single adjustment. Fuck him, forever, and fuck fat mike. If jerry extends him, I'm just not gonna watch until they both are fucking dead.

Who the coach is doesn't really matter.  The loser rot starts at the top.  As long as Jerry's calling the shots, the Cowboys will continue to suck.

If the last 30 years haven't shown you that, I don't know what to tell you.

defense seems better with the addition of Bland and subtraction of Diggs

Interesting prop bet. Who dies first, jerruh or McCarthy?

Agreed...culture starts at the top and it's not just fat mike but jerry and his offspring that need to go.

I would not be surprised with a new contract for Mike, and maybe adding a real OC who calls plays and manages things.  Does Jerry want to start over at 82 and force a new offense on Dak?  Jerry in his mind wants a Landry tenure to his coach.  He’s been apologizing for firing Wade mid season and shitty Chan Gailey after 2 shit seasons.  I’m not advocating it, just speculating.

id like him to fire Stephen more than letting Mike go.

This shouldn't surprise anyone after they kept Garrett for so long.

Thing is....if you're extending him after this year....you were gonna do it anyway. So you should have done it after last year ended. There was no reason to go into the season with him thinking he's a lame duck. Honestly if McCarthy had any respect for himself as a man he'd tell Jerry to get fucked.

mccarthy it is.

Somebody tap Jerrah on the shoulder and tell him not to draft that slow af walking bust Danny Stutsman. He seems like the type of gooner Jerrah would burn a 1st round pick on

They get one fluke win and that old dumb bastard is talking about extending the coach he lame ducked.

He was always going to. He did it in the way that would get the most attention, just like with Dak, just like CD, just like what's happening with Micah. That was the priority, nothing else.

If you hate Bayless just skip this comment. OTOH, if you hate McCarthy...

Skip reflects on game last Sun and  possibility McCarthy isn't fired when he should have been after last year's home playoff loss when we trained GB 27-0 at halftime.

Firing Stephen and him taking a step back as GM would go a long way more than just getting rid of Fat Mike...i will agree with that.

Get a real football guy in here, or just let McClay and the scouts do their actual fucking job and not let coaches make picks might help too.
