April 25Apr 25 Not judging, but when he was being introduced he seemed like a better fit for the Oilers or Packers. Two snaps up!

April 25Apr 25 Projections aren’t worth shit. We all know that. I saw most say best guard and top 16/17 pick. Not late first. Who the hell knows?

In recent trades Dallas has given up a relatively speaking king's ransom in exchange for dog shit. And now all of the sudden no trams want to trade with them?

What I mean is if no one was serious about trading up at all then they have to stay a pick(and I’m not okay with the pick as my posts have pointed out). No one wanted to come up to 12 but one team we know of. not sure why you’re trying to say here.

Dane Brugler and Jeff Cavenah(some others) had him as his best guard around 20. They rank them where they feel and hear they should. No one really knows. I don’t like the pick there but I don’t base it on “well the mocks said he’s Lower”. also another guard just went. So no. We couldn’t have gotten Booker later Edited April 25Apr 25 by Drew

Not the Jerry jones guy. He’s literally sabotaging Dak by not adding weapons and refusing to improve in FA. the only thing I’ve said is about the damn trade back scenarios, of which they only had 1. April 25Apr 25 Their post presser is going to be all “the run game wasn’t a RB problem it was. A line problem”. And follow it up with “we like what we saw out of Tolbert and saw flashes out of Mingo!” Fuckkkk meanwhile Brock Hoffman was like a top 15 ranked guard on a a lot of metrics. they don’t NEED a guard. April 25Apr 25 The Cowboys best tackle by far is stuck at guard, and the starting tackles suck ass, so they overdrafted a guard, even though the other guard they started last year played well and is cheap, they signed a guard in free agency they like, and had another guard that was in close competition with the starting guard. The only way they seem like they could be better is with Smith moving to left tackle, figuring out which shitty tackle starts on the other side, and having a bunch of interior options.

That would take some foresight. And also moving a guy that could potentially be a HOF at guard to Tackle(which he may be as well) think your right though. Go Smith, Hoffman, Beebee, Booker and figure out RT to make it work. Instead of worrying about both tackles sucking and covering you’re only doing one.
April 25Apr 25 First time in my life I'm walking out on the draft, and the first round. I have no fucks left to give.
April 25Apr 25 Pretty boring right? But they grabbed Zach Martin at #16 and that worked out. The new OC is an OLine coach. He said his offense starts in the OLine room.

April 25Apr 25 First time in my life I'm walking out on the draft, and the first round. I have no fucks left to give.I did this last year. Only watched on thanksgiving day because I was at the in-laws and nothing else to watch. My sundays were way better. Of course I would look up the score Sunday evening or Monday, but I didn’t invest 3.5 hours watching vomit. I’m old enough to kind of remember Roger but mainly danny white so I’ve been watching for a minute.
April 25Apr 25 I'm convinced the other teams are all letting Sanders slide to laugh at the Arkansas idiots when they draft him.
April 25Apr 25 They’re not drafting Sanders. It’s a fun joke but that’s it. besides if you don’t like Dak you’ll hate Sanders.
April 25Apr 25 Dak the human being is hardly hateable at all. He's just not the player the idiot Cowboys are paying for. Sanders would have a hard time being remotely as stand up and classy as Dak iff the field.
April 25Apr 25 The 1st Round is only for QB, WR, OT's, preferably LT, on offense. But, maybe Jeanty is an every down RB? I'm surprised a TE like Loveland went that high. Warren, not so much. Defense for playmakers regardless of position. Edited April 25Apr 25 by DFW Horn * TE

April 25Apr 25 To the Cowboys credit, we bitched when they drafted a Center early too. That turned out semi- OK. Edited April 25Apr 25 by Iceman
April 25Apr 25 They overdrafted Booker a little but it’s fine. Smith-Booker-Beebe-Hoffman-Guyton should be a good starting 5 and they can jettison Steele’s sorry ass after this season I think. We’re talking about Jerry and Stephen. Could’ve been way worse.
April 25Apr 25 Drew is screaming about Dak not having weapons, but the OL fucking sucked in the run game and pass game last season. No QB can succeed when he’s constantly under pressure from both the inside and outside. I would rather they had drafted a T prospect and moved him to G (since the Ts sucked as bad as the Gs), but I understand the pick. i think they wanted Jeanty, McMillian or trade back. When none of those were available they took the guy who was the best player on their board at their biggest position of need. Edited April 25Apr 25 by lilMAC25
April 25Apr 25 It's not an exciting pick but I don't hate it. Fans always complain when guards are drafted with a team's first two picks.

I have no problem with them taking another lineman. Just not there. With 3 WRs that’ll make a bigger impact immediately. Or even a pass rusher. we are going to bitch and moan about the offense and never say they lack the weapons and eat up Jerry saying “well we can’t pay for them” which is bullshit.

April 25Apr 25 Booker will probably be damn good, that's not an issue. But at 12 a guard, and where the Cowboys are at this point, it is a massive misappropriation of draft capital. Teams with starting guards drafted in the mid rounds will be winning championships and have much more well rounded teams. The Cowboys will have the most OL in Pro Bowl, and the biggest part of the salary cap. That don't win shit.

April 25Apr 25 The Hall Of Fame guard that they lost played along with a hall of fame left tackle and a multiple All pro center, and other guys with accolades. How many playoff games did they win? Two? Three?
April 25Apr 25 The Cowboys best OL at this point would be: LT - Smith, LG - Booker, C - Beebe, RG - Hoffman, RT - ? (somebody that sucks). Booker played on the left side, so plugging him in Martin's spot is a bit of a transition, that is awkward for some players. He should play left guard. You let Guyton and Steele battle it out for RT. Maybe one of them sucks less this year. Maybe that's the thinking. But it's probably too logical.
