I knew by the thread title, damn he was great during the heyday especially. 

"Backing it in (×7), Dream is hammered no call, Dreamshake is gooooood!!!! "

He could say that in 1.9 seconds with half a second being the "it's good" part.

RIP to Gene Peterson one of the greatest broadcaster in sports history. After every Rockets win he would say “ how sweet it is” and it was nothing better than to hear that back in the day.This playoff game vs the Utah Jazz where the time keeper “forgot” to start the clock was…

He said “no call” at least 20 times a game.  Great home town announcer.
