It was a great year. 35 wins. Forever to be known as “The Final Four team of 2025.” Thank you Vic and staff. Thank you ladies. Much appreciated.

Hilarious stare down between Oldacre and CDC in the postgame

Weak competition but our offense looks efficient. Hopefully Phelia isn’t out for too long

The biggest to me is not a huge drop off from Jones to Oldacre

That replay shit during a live ball is annoying

The Ewers transformation

Outscored them 30-10 since halftime  so far

Oldacre 6-9 and Jones 8-8

Nice to see our post players at 14-17 FGs. Really hope Vic emphasized the missed layups we saw all last year by Jones and Gaston especially

Got Sarah, let’s see Abbie

Preston is a baller.

She’s fast and crazy athletic

Abbie and Phelia are in warmups. Won’t play

Jak seems like a plus defender with length and anticipation, but her offensive game is still so limited. Mostly her court awareness with the ball in her hands.

Fun to see them out there again.

Texas wins 119-47

SEMO scored 29 in the first half and then we really clamped down - only 18 points the 2nd half

Feels like Oldacre is better than we anticipated.

A lot of good schools recruited her in the portal and we jumped on her almost immediately.

Of course the talent level was a mismatch but the young players have some juice.

Was really impressed with Preston and Carlton. She ran the floor well

Agree. Lee looked good too. All of that with a grain of salt of course. Oldacre looks like a force.

Oldacre needs to play against some girls with size so that she isn’t called for so many charges because these littles today went flying with any bump.

If she bumps you, I imagine you feel it for a while. Will be interesting to watch her bang with the likes of ND’s 6’5 freshman Koval or Beers or all of SoCar’s size

Amina had 8 points (4-7), 5 rebounds and an assist in 20 minutes of Oregon’s upset of Baylor last night

But she fouled out. Averaged a foul every 4 minutes

Lattimore coming off the bench at Virginia played 25 minutes with 15 points, 8 boards, 2 assists and 5 blocks vs American

She had 5 points in 19 minutes in a 51 - 95 loss to OU.

Khadija Faye with Pittsburg.

27 points in 27 minutes, 12 boards, 3 assist 2 steals and 2 blocks vs the mighty Canisius Golden Griffins.

Latasha, Deyona, Amina, Khadija.  Can't seem to hang on to some of the tall girls, I guess they want to be the focal point of the team and we've got some real star power now.

Still, not happy with the way any of them left.

Lattimore has been gone, bro.  Let that one go.  She's on her 3rd school or whatever lol.

Former Horn bigs are amassing some gaudy stats against crappy competition.  Amina against Baylor and Lattimore against OU are the only 2 who have faced real competition.

Early Signing Day is tomorrow.  So far, just Crump.  Chavez has not confirmed anything, but i think she took a *very late* OV to Tech this past weekend, but it started Sunday instead of Friday/Saturday.  TBD if she's signing tomorrow.

We also hosted, I think for the Georgia game, Jaliya Davis from Overland Park, KS (5 star forward).  She was on an UOV to KU over the weekend and was spotted at their MBB game versus UNC

We know we are signing Crump, but can Texas close on Chavez and Davis?

Lesson:

Don't sign post players whose names end in an "a?"

So Kyla is leaving after this year? Lol

Hey, now, I didn't talk about any more players leaving... I only looked at the sample of those who had already departed.

YOU conjured up the bad juju re: Kyla.

In all seriousness, if Kyla somehow leaves, maybe we're on to something statistically significant haha.

Oldacre was a very weird portal recruitment.

Her stats and minutes didn't align with the schools that recruited her out of the portal. Vic was far from the only coach who saw potential. Something must have flashed on film because a lot of good schools were after her.

So far it looks like those coaches were right. Oldacre looked really good in the exhibition too.

T&K (Taylor and Kayla) should feast tonight against Lamar.

Their tallest player is 6'2 and their forwards all together are 5'11, 6'0, 6'0, 6'1, 5'11, 6'2

No Booker tonight. Hamstring, but not serious

Phelia sighting!

24-7 Texas after 1

Rori looks like Rori

Phelia ain’t afraid to shoot

Hope Moore is okay

Preston is one of those guards that plays for teams like S.Car, LSU or UConn.
maybe one of those early Baylor teams!!

glad she’s at Texas,

She’s fast

I don’t think Jak has improved at all here

The broadcasters talked about it but don't think we will keep this big starting lineup of Booker, Moore, and Jones.

Booker will eventually be at the 4 and we will add another athletic guard to starting 5.

Yeah they said Vic thought about it before Booker was ruled out

Harmon

2 of Phelia/Holle/Lee

Booker

Jones

This was once a 4-4 game

51-14 Texas at half

Rori headed to the locker room with an injury

Back on the bench. Let her rest, more time for Preston

Rori was back on the floor

Definitely second half lapses defensively, we really lost focus

I think Vic called off the dogs in the 2nd half against a former player and friend. Lotta freshmen got 2nd half run

Carlton is not afraid to shoot. I like that

95-58 final
